If you know who the guy is, they'll know how to deal with him, especially if he's making open death threats on Chase (which is pretty obvious at this point). Yup 911 should only be considered a call to come clean up the mess. The police are there for us but let’s face the facts a person could rip you limb to limb before help arrives. Get training and buy the correct tools to protect yourself and your family. You have the right and duty to come home safe to the people who love and depend on you. Got my friends fired from jobs and contacted my family making false allegations. Quite literally for no reason. He just picked me because I popped up in his feed and he hated my accent. Eventually they got caught and charged. (Different country). The hacking involved. Get 2FA for EVERYTHING. Good luck.

As a former EMT I've dealt with those kind of people first hand. They live in a fake world thinking their world is reality. It's very difficult for them to understand.

I'm retired law enforcement. I disagree with some of the advice you received. File charges for what would be called Harassment by Communication in my state. Then a restraining order. Personal security is the first line of defense. Take control of the situation.
Not to be rude but OOPs don't really do much it's a piece of paper that can be hard to get. These crazy stalkers should just be eliminated and it should be legal.
Restraining orders are completely useless. I knew a girl who had a restraining order out on her ex boy friend and that didn’t stop him from breaking into her apartment and blowing her head off with a shot gun..

Sadly when you're a public figure, these types of things tend to happen. Hopefully, you can get rid of these scam artists and also stalkers. You need to take the proper precautions around your house (lock doors, use alarm, have security cameras). Hate to hear it's happening to you. Don't let it run your life but take the necessary steps to protect yourself. Just remember, it takes the cops time to get you to, arm yourselves the best way you can.

Like they said, arresting him on a minor charge will just piss him off and potentially make him go over the edge. Hopefully the guy has the mental capacity to accept he's being catfished but there is a lot of mental illness. Covid nearly trippled mental health issues. As a former EMT I've dealt with those kind of people first hand. They live in a fake world thinking their world is reality. It's very difficult for them to understand.

I'm retired law enforcement. I disagree with some of the advice you received. File charges for what would be called Harassment by Communication in my state. Then a restraining order. Personal security is the first line of defense. Take control of the situation.

Sadly when you're a public figure, these types of things tend to happen. Hopefully, you can get rid of these scam artists and also stalkers. You need to take the proper precautions around your house (lock doors, use alarm, have security cameras). Hate to hear it's happening to you. Don't let it run your life but take the necessary steps to protect yourself. Just remember, it takes the cops time to get you to, arm yourselves the best way you can.
Unfortunately scammers always tend to come back. I had a dude trying to be cleetus McFarland and he tried to scam me. Didn't work and blocked the account but he came back again and this time I talked to him and found out I pissed him off and he replied in Spanish 😂😂
