However, I now get such joy watching the ostriches run, play and dance and, watching the goats run, play and forage 🤗 Thank You for sharing their lives with us ~ it warms my heart and brings me so much joy every day❣️♥️❣️

If you Love the animals and enjoy them just because they head to LHL did not mean they would not live a great life there ...also the heat was just unbearable for the little's at ISS and they have TRIVED since being at LHL.. on the river walk the other day I noticed the little ones have truly shaped up and are looking quite healthy .. even tho hahaha Mr. Ringo still has his spare tire He is doing wonderful there... but you are right those hills are not good for his knees...

It's too soon for Gracie to show anything from when she was bred. Cows are typically pregnant for around 11 months. She was bred right before the move to LHL
Oh Lester...this is a GREAT video! When the Ostriches were first "set free" it was incredible to watch! Seeing the sheer joy was really, really fun. Almost broke my face smiling! 👍🤗
🤣 The ostriches took off like you'd shot a starting gun! That was so funny and when you told Carl to slow down and he jumped over the culvert...😂😆 All the babies are so happy and just thriving at LHL. Acquiring that place was an excellent decision despite some people's opinions. If they don't want to watch then it's their loss.💙

This was a great video. I couldn’t believe how fast the ostriches ran out of their enclosure, tearing through the yard, and then back into their pasture. That sure was funny. Leave it to Ringo and Brady to be two of the goats trying to get under the door and into the feed room-a couple of big galoots. All of the Longhorns look really great. It’s exciting to see water from end to end in the pond basin. Hopefully the next few days will fill it more. Have a safe time on your trip. ❤️❤️❤️

It's so cool to see the water level finally starting to build up in the pond, and great work with the rocks. The Ostriches are always a joy to watch as they let loose. That was really nice as you walked the fence line seeing Tex and family all lined up to say hi... even though they were hoping for treats too..lol the babies are all growing like weeds, especially Santoro. Jolene is just as cute as ever.
They are full of vinegar and spite. First they all run out and really fast then they all run back in the pen. They are funny. The dances that they did was hilarious.

It's so enjoyable seeing the ostriches out having a blast running and dancing! They are getting to live their best lives out at the new place. Can't believe how much the babies have grown in less than 4 months! Seeing them starting to get their "grown up" feathers doesn't seem possible! Seems like it's been no time since they were running around with their baby wings spread out trying to look like Mom & Dad!
It's great that TIlly is starting to join the littles more often! I think she will acclimate great with cooler weather coming in. Will she be going to IMA? I can see her doing well there. Dixie's muscles are becoming much more defined with the hilly landscape, that is great for her!

Never miss his meds keep it on time on track so he doesn't have to suffer it will help lengthen the time he has for real....... I have truly noticed that his meds haven't been given on time many times and it breaks my heart

Hi from GB Lester. Today I was watching an episode of Animal Park BBC1, a world famous safari park in England who are a major part of endangered species breeding programme. Todays episode covered their ostriches. They have been trying for 10yrs to successfully breed baby ostriches without any success. It made me smile that a farmer from Texas did the very thing that Zoologists with on-site vets and deep deep pockets couldn’t 😊 2022 was the first year that they laid eggs, but they weren’t sitting on them, they then introduced sand and success! but unfortunately the eggs did not survive due to the slope and rain upsetting the heat required. You may have to get that sand into LHL which you noted recently, IMA Survivor has very sandy soil, but LHL doesn’t. Big round of applause for my favourite TH-camr 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I don’t think it’s about seeing the “ravines” from the erosion but that it will continue to happen and get worse. I love that there is water in there. Will it always be that muddy looking or will that go away over time? I love those ostriches. And all the hits look so good, even Ringo has lost some of his tire belly. Thank you for the video.

I missed when someone suggested to smooth out the pond walls before it fills so the only thing that comes to mind is not because they are saying to make it look better but maybe to make it safer when the Bigs walk into the pond after it fills up? Maybe just so there would be less craters in the clay under the water? Maybe the water filling up will smooth it out, but that is just a guess. 🤷

I watched National Geographic my whole life and seen Ostriches many times. It took LHL to show me the other side of them. They really can dance 😆

Hi from GB Lester. Today I was watching an episode of Animal Park BBC1, a world famous safari park in England who are a major part of endangered species breeding programme. Todays episode covered their ostriches.
They have been trying for 10yrs to successfully breed baby ostriches without any success. It made me smile that a farmer from Texas did the very thing that Zoologists with on-site vets and deep deep pockets couldn’t 😊
2022 was the first year that they laid eggs, but they weren’t sitting on them, they then introduced sand and success! but unfortunately the eggs did not survive due to the slope and rain upsetting the heat required.
You may have to get that sand into LHL which you noted recently, IMA Survivor has very sandy soil, but LHL doesn’t.

I don’t think it’s about seeing the “ravines” from the erosion but that it will continue to happen and get worse. I love that there is water in there. Will it always be that muddy looking or will that go away over time? I love those ostriches. And all the hits look so good, even Ringo has lost some of his tire belly. Thank you for the video.

Every time I see those babies they have doubled in size!! They really grow fast!! It’s been really neat watching them grow! I have never seen ostriches from hatching and growing up it’s been awesome thank you for sharing their lives with us.

The goats look so peaceful here! Even Elfie & Pickeles. So do the longhorns. My class misses the Tex vs Billy videos, but they'll settle for the alligator and chasing guineas videos instead. Love it!

I missed when someone suggested to smooth out the pond walls before it fills so the only thing that comes to mind is not because they are saying to make it look better but maybe to make it safer when the Bigs walk into the pond after it fills up? Maybe just so there would be less craters in the clay under the water? Maybe the water filling up will smooth it out, but that is just a guess. 🤷

The Ostrich Ballet is performing all week @ Long Horn Lesters. Performance times vary depending on the mood of the ostriches. They need music to go with their dances.
