Nagato's story is a reflection of our world today. Hidden Leaf, Rock and Sand represent the super powers in our world and their struggles. They steal resources and take the lives of the smaller nations (Hidden Rain), which cause suffering, fear and hatred, which leads to terror (Akatsuki) and then the cycle repeats. The only thing that can save humanity from this cycle of hatred is the people saying no to war. The fact that we go to war with each other because some insane people obsessed with power can't get over their own egos is maddening to me. If the people say no, there are no soldiers to fight and all wars ends.
Some people are so dumb, who just think everything nagato did was wrong. Can't they just forget that show is called 'naruto' and make up their own mimd on who is actually right or wrong
@@orianamedhestchanel3894 Umm... Nagato's vision was the same version of the world that already existed, but just with suffering forced upon everyone - so, not really solving the problem, just making it worse and for everyone. And Sasuke's idea was a totalitarian regime built upon countless deaths.
They lost their parents... they became victims of wars They lost their 🐕... they became the need for change but when they lost their comrade.. they became the 'martyrs of peace'. Perfect recipe for a villian arc with nothing to lose.
Naruto really asking pain "how being pervy sages student he ended up the way that pain did?" First of all Jiraiya wasn't there all his life... second of all he literally let the 9tails take over him which was even worse than pain.. he was saved by Minato..Nagato literally had none of that... so yeah.. I can understand why he turned out the way he did. Plus he was right, he made the hidden leaf feel what his village felt then made the choice to heal it... it wasn't Naruto.. Nagato was actually the right. . By making the leaf feel such destruction and loss. Otherwise countries with the money power justify their own actions like it's comparable.. see 9/11 and the Iraq war.. 3,000 people died on 9/11 which isn't good but that's all we think matters when 500,000 people in Iraq were killed after a fake war. Nagato was literally the reason why the Ninja world changed because he had to be the one the burden to take all the pain then make a super power feel it.
It was really sad when Konan died. She was like the last piece of their memory and could have gone on to bring peace in the hidden rain for generations.
You know, it may almost be 10 years since Naruto ended, but I still think this could have been a great conclusion to the series, with some minors rewrite. Naruto being able to touch Nagato by words only may be silly, the famous "talk no jutsu" everyone has been making fun of for years. But that has always be Naruto greatest strengh. That's how he was able to reach Gaara, who never had anyone in his life caring for his feelings. That's how he was able to influence Chiyo into giving her life for Gaara, a bet for the future with the new generations. That's the most powerful thing about this series, the conflict between the actual generation, who has known nothing but peace (on some rare exceptions) and the older ones, whre kids had to fight and die in the war. Most of the people Naruto fight and rally to his cause are people traped in that dreadful past, unable to see a better future. Nagato is everything Naruto could have been, like Sasuke was, and like Gaara was. That's why, if I had to rewrite this story so Pain could be the final ennemy, I would make Gaara and the sand village come help Konoha, like they did at the start of Shippuden. Gaara has a lot to say about the state of the world, how people are used as weapon, and how lonely the world can be. On the other hand, I would make Sasuke understand Itachi's choice and make the resolution to change the village from the inside. Basically, forget his all evil plan thta drags the series until the end. Because that's basically where he ended anyway. And, most importantly, I erase Obito as a character, except for Kakashi's flash back. The story doesn't need him and I can't stand everything leading up to the final 4th ninja war.We don't Madara to come back to life, like all the Edo Tensei, with Kabuto being an Orochimaru bis, or the whole "Sasuke and Naruto are reincarnation of former chosen ones" and what not. It's a great plot for Boruto, and I always hated it in Naruto. It just doesn't make sense wit the original message of Naruto. Together, Gaara and Sasuke could be able to quell Naruto's rage after Hinata's death, leading to them 3 talking to Nagato, exposing their own truth that may change his mind. And I would keep all the victims dead because it's a war, there has to be consequences. The lost of Hinata could a good start to change the Huyga Clan, maybe with a changed Neiji as its leader to never forget the pain they suffered. Kakashi could finally find peace with his father, knowing the future is in good ends. Tsunade could suffer real consequences for her actions, never being able to be young again, maybe even having to resign her post. And, I'm sure with everything Danzo had done by this point, he might have to answer his past crimes, and we could even have a new generation take the lead for the village. Naruto would still be a hero and, knowing how the Pain situation broke down, being even more attentive to future conflict. You can left some Akatsuki members alive, that's not a big deal. Zetsu was never a character to being with and Kizame is always fun to be around. Anyway, looking back at all these scenes, I understand why Naruto was the most popular of the Big Three back in the day. There is just...something special about Kishimoto writting, and how deeply philosophical Naruto feels compare to Bleach and One Piece. Too bad his other project didn't worked. It's hard to come back to something else after such a big hit.
Nah this was the perfect end to the arc..Nagato and Naruto were able to connect because of Jiraiya.. Nagato was trying to justify if what he was doing was truly right by giving Naruto the same exact circumstances... But Madara showed up in Nagatos story.. and Minato showed up to save Naruto. Madara is the best villian easily.
@@rajdhillon1362 I don't think so. Madara came back out of nowhere and didn't have much to add to the overall series. He was fine as a legend of the past, who had his own story to tell. And I don't like the sharingan being turned to a rinengan. It makes both less special. And I don't like that Nagato was yet another man manipulated to do bad stuff. It has more impact if he was free to chose this path based on his experiences and traumas. Like the other characters in the series. I don't like Orochimaru coming back for the sake of it, I don't like the Edo Tensei bringing back every insignificant possible character to make you believe there is tension and gravity to those fights. Most of the conflicts were already solved for those characters, it's either fan service or to save time. To be honest, it has been almost 10 years since I've read the manga, back when it ended. And I remember droping it during the war because it was too long, didn't make with previous established facts and so on. And I only read the manga, I didn't see the anime for this part, and it was clearly lacking background and meaning. I don't understand why Sasuke suddendly became good again after his fight with Itachi when he didn't back when Itachi died. I don't like Naruto ans Sasuke being some kind of reincarnation of some ancient and unknown force up to this point. This betray the basic theme of the series about failures finding worth not through important lineage or power but because of their own efforts. And I don't like that almost no one died in what's supposed to be the biggest war ever in this world. We learn time and time again about how traumatic the 3rd war was for everyone involved, kids and adults, but no, here it's fine because Neji died after being forgotten for years. So yeah, hard pass for me.

As for Sasuke, the way I see it, Kishimoto just didn't know what to do with him. One time he' good, one time he's bad, just for the sake of it. When he came back to help during the war, it could have been the end, but no, we needed him to fight Naruto at the same place as before for fan service. You know, that's mostly how it work : you don't like something you don't find logical or that you don't agree with. It depends on your level of appreciation, and it might be because I was a huge fan of Naruto back in the day that I was so disapointed by how it turned out. And yet, I enjoyed some of the stuff after Pain, doesn't mean it's good in my eyes. I'm trying to give another chance to Naruto, since I gave up on One Piece for the same reasons. Like I said, it was almost 10 years ago. I grew up, I read and watched other stuff, my opinion might have changed. So I'm in the process of reading Naruto again. I mean, I think Sakura as a concept was very interesting, the normal girl with no ties to this world ready to change and grow to protect the ones she loves once she realize how serious all of this really is. But again, Kishimoto ave up all way through with her and after her fight with Shiyo against Sasori, she had nothing more to say. Not even mentioning all the side characters who were left over to rot. I would have prefer them to be killed earlier in a more satisfying way. Like Neji, yet again. And I didn't say there wasn't death in Naruto, only that no one major or important died during the last big war where everyone came together to fight the bad guy. Again, if there is not stake, I can't take it seriously.
