I agree that Pai doesn't see their encounter at the race track the same way that Sky does. To him, it was a mutual exchange that started with mutual attraction. Sky sees it as having been trapped and coerced into sex, even though he is attracted to Pai and maybe also used the encounter as a release for himself he still feels like it was something he wouldn't have chosen to do. What he doesn't realize, and what I hope is true, is that Pai didn't intend to coerce him and if Sky had reacted with horror or fear then Pai would have backed off and just taken him home. There's a miscommunication happening that's similar to Rain and Payu in ep 1 where Rain thinks Payu is just being a nice senior and Payu thinks Rain is playing flirty brat. Here, Sky took Pai's words on the track as blackmail, and bc of his clearly traumatic past he felt like it was safer to give Pai what he wants than to resist bc he doesn't know whether Pai is violent or not; while Pai on the other hand sees this beautiful boy who oggles him back, helps him out, but wants to get closer so he playfully asks for something in exchange in a way that's almost like a challenge to see if Sky really does want him back, which Sky unexpectedly rises to meet. I'm hoping they'll clear this up with each other at some point, it won't be the most exciting scene but I would kill for just a simple conversation where they both give their very different accounts of their first meeting and Pai apologizes for making Sky feel trapped.
Very well said and I agree completely - this is why I don't hold that scene against Prapai at all, you've summed up exactly how I think they both approached that encounter.
I love their dynamic, I have faith prapai will show sky he deserves to loved, it will be worth it to see sky learn and understand what love is really like
Unfortunately trauma and abuse are not easy to talk about, and neither is mental health struggles. It's not as easy as being honest in this case. I agree though that his backstory is sad. Holding out for Prapai to help him start to heal.
This episode made me so sad, but the preview looked like Pai figures out at least part of what's going on. Also the shirt you said suits Sky says "I love you" on it in Korean. Idk what the smaller words said because my vision isn't that great, but I just found that kind of ironic in a sad way.

Sky needs to be more honest about what's going on. The more he cuts people off the worse it's going to get. His whole story like is so sad 😭
