Bryans never fails to genuinely seem like such a great guy, genuinely lives by the "become friends with people" advice that he always mentions. Love seeing him support a talented student like yourself.

I thought was going to be just another red pill anti woman piece, but I was wrong. This guy is well knowledgeable, well spoken, objective and extremely logical in his arguments. Good interview.

I think the red pill bros and Bryan agree on basically everything but he presents his arguments in a much nicer way.

@@soulfuzz368 Yeah, I can agree with someone's conclusion but not like their reasoning, or lack-therof, of how they got their. That's what I don't like about the "anti-sjw" crowd. Even when I disagree with someone (I'm inclined to agree with Bryan on many things) I'd hear them out if they are being respectful and articulate and not resorting to rants and ad-hominem jabs.

@@soulfuzz368 Red pill bros probably go much further than Caplan though. They are generally quite sexist in the traditional sense, believing women should not really have equal rights.

The discussion was an interesting approach and attempt for some understanding of the gender conflict but from a perspective that will seem more "red pill", but I like it for it's uniqueness of approach without necessary dismissing men's issues but pointing out where feminism might be having it wrong. Of course there could be bad actors in all kinds of these movements, the more arrogant and loud are over represented and even by the mainstream because they want to vilify anything in opposition to the a feminist perspective. But I think there is also a bit of misunderstanding and hopefully this wall change by time.
I like that exploration in 37:00 of asking the question where the gender conflict comes from? Why did we come to this. I am not sure it's the full answer, but it's an interesting perspective I haven't thought much. Naturally, there are such differences in the sexes ways of thinking that usually it's normal for men not being able to connect mentally to women and vice versa. At the end of the day, nobody wants to dislike each other, but somehow things brought one movement which was "feminism" and to me I see the "red pill" (or other movements in the past) as a reaction to the first. Gender ideology as a way of thinking in the world came from women collectives and then was reaction. Whatever it is, there some kind of imbalance or inability of harmony between the sexes. Would be interesting to figure out why as I don't think most men or women want to play this game of blaming each other but some of them end up out of necessity.

1:26:15 …. Uhh that’s because the people coming to the US aren’t homogenous. It’s a huge mix of people who don’t share anything in common. Ukrainians and polish, I presume, have WAYY more in common than blacks and whites vs Mexicans and Asians.

Bryan, you're fantastic, but you do disrespect the basic rationale for betting when you take very safe ones and tout a perfect record. The mark of a skilled gambler isn't how pristine their record of wins is; it's how high their EV is. I want to know the odds you'd take on questions like "the first amendment to the U.S. Constitution will be repealed before January 1st, 2025". It's obviously not better than 100:1, but I doubt it's worse than 10,000:1.
