I am not going to assert Ian is being dishonest, but I think his interpretation is all wrong. Fact is, that I did not realize until better journalism exposed it, this is all part of a long term policy to take real estate. It's not about a cease fire maybe, or about human rights being an issue. Human rights MUST BE an issue. Clearly Hamas sees that if it does NOT get a permanent deal, with a permanent recognized named country in the UN, Israel will continue to commit atrocities against Palestinians until they are exterminated, even if it takes years. That is what the October 7 stuff has been about all along. All the lies by Israel expanding and distorting Hamas atrocities, while using traditional claims of bigotry against dissenters who bring up evidence. Hamas has a clear and accurate calculation, as do most of the non-western countries, that 1) long term Israel policy, as per it's term of "mowing the lawn" is to exterminate Palestinians and take the land, and 2) Netanyahu cannot stop because when he does he will go to jail, and his positions will be discredited. He can only survive by keeping the war going. Yes more Palestinians will die if Israel continues, but they will all die anyway if Israel is not defeated by Palestine. That is the clear situation. Ian, even if you believe otherwise, you need to address this, say how most countries believe it, and address it alongside your opinions and say why you think you are right, not just IGNORE OVER HALF THE WORLD.
The war continues indefinitely because Netanyahu relies on it to stay in power. I didn’t realise Ian had such little care and compassion for all those being starved to death.
So what you are saying is Palestinians deserve their fate, which by extension is going to destroy Israel? I mean if Israel wants to turn their country into an isolated, heavily sanctions genocidal North Korea because they think Palestinians deserve it, that's weird logic, but okay. Thought Israelis were trying to secure peace.
@@PALSDX You have a choice to sit there and allow Hamas to make decisions for you, or to remove Hamas from your society. I don't see many on the ground attempting to do the latter unfortunately.
That’s like expecting average American to do something about Biden policies in the region, they can’t just walk to the white house and remove him. At least we Americans have elections unlike Gazans. War in Iraq was sad, can an average Iraqi expect you to do something about it.
Hamas has already said they’re gonna do October 7 again as soon as they regroup
good
Thank you Ian ... 👍
Analysis: top shelf! Audio quality: bargain basement!
It was pretty hard to watch as well, pretty shaky.
This was strangely unprofessional from him.

What, if anything is Hamas doing to defend the civilian population in Gaza?
Hamas publicly promotes turning Gazans in "martyrs" for generations. Gazans gave up on expecting their government to protect them a long time ago.
Al Jazeera has done the best coverage of this conflict.
Misrepresentation of what's really happening in Gaza
Tell what is "really happening" and tell us your verifiable source ?? I'll wait.
'most of them don't'😆

No. Stop putting American internal bs on outside conflicts. Bibi is NOT popular, at all. He is part of the reason why Oct 7th was so devastating.
The Gazans had a choice and they have chosen destruction! Sad!
2.3 million don’t choose that , including my family , it’s sad when u said
