I think V1 and V2 fit "noise lapping" in two very different ways.
V1 is more slow and a bit calmer. It fits the Noise who knows all to well this is their show, and they are gonna win.
V2 is faster and more tense. It fits the Noise that doesn't believe this is their show anymore, and that their time is running thin.

Now that I thought about it, it makes sense, but I think almost like that but a little different, V1 shows that Noise knows what's happening, like if everything is going exactly how he wanted, and no one besides him in the Set knows what's going on, V2 shows that Noise didn't put that on the Script (references?) but is going to do it anyway because, unlike Peppino, Noise is Insane and doesn't care if his entire set just Crumbles (OMG I said it) around him, he only cares about how the movie is going to be in the end
