Good. I was afraid that Ciri is dead again because of some newly found details. In any case, this work with Udalryk (I even didn't notice that that was him during the intense ending) from the developers is great. And great that you spotted that. If that is really your birthday today, then congratulations! Wish best to you and your family.
That attention to detail with the Hym’s shadow is amazing. Been playing this game on and off for about 7 years and I still find new things every now and then. Great video as always 😊

When I bought this game for my switch I was not expecting that this game would be The Game. I never played the previous Witcher and I didn’t like the visual and I thought it was overwhelming because the characters threw names that I didn’t recognize… But man, I was wrong… After I gave it some time, I never, never in my life played a game this packed, this detailed, this passionate, and I can tell that the crews put their blood and sweat into this incredible game… the storytelling, the characters, the possibilities!!! This is a gorgeous game, and to say this is a gorgeous game is an understatement.
The fact that they put the shadow of the hym in the final battle just shows how im depth the developers went on this game. I'm cautiously optimistic that the 4th game will be as good as the third installment.
It wouldn't be an xLetalis video if Ciri isn't being sold in it. In all seriousness though, damn, at this rate your grand-children will continue finding secrets in this game long after you've passed!
It's been a while, but I always thought that Skelligers took the arrival of the Wild Hunt and the destruction of the fleet on the ice as an opportunity to break the Nilfgaardian blockade, no matter who's in charge of the isles. That's why they're always independent in the final slideshow. So the entire final battle is a three-way fight between the Wild Hunt, Skellige, and Nilfgaard. Geralt makes a deal with the Emperor and the Mages, but he never brokers a truce between Nilfgaard and Skellige during the preparations. Geralt and Ciri stop the Wild Hunt and save the world, but the battle is a massive defeat for the Emperor. CD probably had to cut down the number of NPCs present in the final sequence to keep the game running smoothly, and three factions all fighting each other looks kinda janky in practice, so they cut the Imperial soldiers. It might also have been confusing for players to see two 'friendly' factions fighting each other and the Wild Hunt, or players started hacking through the Black Ones with the Vikings and gotten distracted.
The detail with the shadow is pretty amazing! I do always lift the curse so I never knew that they went that far with it. And I never really notice to much what they say in that part cause I always bolt right through it. And just have to mention cause I'm exited, but god damn, I've missed a whole quest on 8 playthroughs ("peace disturbed") and I'm so happy and suprised over how large that damn crypt in skellige is and that little cave in the lover hall was way longer than I expected. The most fun cave I've explored in the game thanks to how it's shaped. Now I need to go back in all my finished playthroughs and finish it there 😁. Literally made my morning. Damn I love this game. 💛
No coin or kiss scene but we got a rare one in 3:35? This is an 11/10 update video! Also I never noticed the shadow detail, probably because I cannot leave any quest unfinished so thx again!
That Skelliger on the ship at the end is the most grizzled I've ever seen Pete Postlethwaite... I guess they were planning on having the classic narrative beat of two enemies fighting before having to team up. Not the biggest thing they cut from the game, so not altogether surprising, though arguably it could have driven home the power of the Wild Hunt more if implemented properly.
holy fk. That hym shadow thing is mind blowing for me. I could understand it if the shadow appears during a cutscene but it is still there during gameplay? talk about the detailing.
The moment you show Udalryk's horn-y shadow i bursted out a "holy sh*t this game goes really that far with details" (that was in french and far less litterate btw) - not mentionning you are incredibly accurate.
