    The Launch will be my first Hydros purchase and my first automation equipment in this hobby. I am 3 years into the hobby and I have been holding out for this moment. I'm very excited to begin my journey in the Hydros family.

    Guys, I think that you hit the 460 ft fence out of the park with this one. Like you explained, this device is the "Meca" for everyone getting into automation. For me, it's what I was waiting to finally do the complete transition from the other controller. Even I still looking for few other things but it's no brainer.

    This is the perfect option for like 80% of tanks! Especially nano tanks. If it replaced two of the drive ports for two pump ports, it would be the most complete thing on the market imo. But hey the wave engine is pretty reasonable already!

    Although I agree tools can assist in the husbandry and health of a reef tank, it is the steep learning curve that one must navigate through that ultimately determines ones success and longevity in this hobby. The cost of equipment and tools aside, mistakes can be costly. Additionally, the plethora of information out there regarding what you should do, what you shouldn't do, can be overwhelming and confusing. Simply stated, this hobby is not for everybody, it is a labor of love, requiring perseverance, and a continued thirst for knowledge in order to provide the best care for these beautiful creatures. Reef on!

    Guys this marketing is confusing. On your website for the controller it’s saying in one area it comes with the salinity probe and in another area the ‘what’s in the box’ it states ph probe. Clarification please! I want to own one of these one day, but I need to know what I need to foresee cost wise
    Edit: I re read it, it’s calling a port a probe. That’s why I’m confused I think. Please let me know if I’m crazy

    Question, why not doing every unit for 20 amps instead of 15 amps, a heater can jump the unit to almost 18-19 amps and cause an alarm on the system

    • @CoralVueTV
      @CoralVueTV  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thank you for your comment. We have taken this into consideration. However, to support 20A, your home needs a 20A breaker installed, which may not be available in a large percentage of US homes.

      Well actually in my case I remodel my house having the tank in consideration and next to my tank I have three designated outlets on three different breakers of 20 amps each, the sum wish is outside the house has two designated outlets with two 20 amps breakers too. So I’m ready. I did everything think ahead for the future 😊

    When will you ship to the UK? I've asked so many times and never get a response

    • @CoralVueTV
      @CoralVueTV  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Im sorry you have not gotten a response, however, we do answer this question often. We must keep up with our home market before expanding international. Not only for sales, but supporting the product as well. Those avenues have not been established yet. We have the desire, but manageable growth is key to success, of course.
      As for a Tip...the XP8 is 220v compatible. Therefore, you may utilize that device as the power giver, downside is that you would need adaptors for each of the US style plugs. If you are able to find a retailer to ship it to you, it should work. But, there are no avenues to support the product. Hope this helps, sorry its not exactly what you wanted to hear.

    How does it replace power bricks. I don’t see the connector for 1

    • @CoralVueTV
      @CoralVueTV  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You replace power bricks by using the 12V drive ports and remove small 12V items like ATO pumps, Kalk Mixer motors, Dosing pumps, Solenoids small lights etc. Each one of those items would need a power brick or wall wart.

    How about updating iv to give option for ph salinity without alkalinity

    • @CoralVueTV
      @CoralVueTV  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The iV is just a component to isolate the test and to perform the alk test. By no means are you required to use the iV just for alk testing. You can always just use it to isolate your pH and Salinity tests.

    The duration of most hobbyists is a cycle. There are not enough hobbyists to sustain the industry, there for the Marine industry have turned it in to a pay to play hobby. If you can't pay you can't play.
    So the cycle happens of new hobbyists can justify the expense initial as the cost will stop soon. But the tank crashes, ich, cost of equipment eventually takes a toll.
    From own experience as a life time hobbyists.
    It's very hard to restart after you out grow a tank, your now installing an 8x3x2. Reef show is in one week in another state. 2 days before you leave the tank cracks.
    You have 20k of coral and fish setup in tubs and lights and filtration it's been stable and you leave for 1 week.
    You come back an 20k of coral and fish gone.
    You don't get those costs in other hobbies

    Went from APEX, to HYDROS and back because HYDROS didn't work and APEX did, despite the code. Sounded great in theory. I was all behind all the sales points, but the thing was super wonky and the WiFi was completely unreliable. Wanted to like it, but there's a long way to go, especially with the APP. I am by NO MEANS an APEX fanboy. I tried your product for a reason and find Neptune to be cheaply made. Your product is much more durable, but it simply didn't work. Even getting the thing to pair was extremely difficult.

      Works great with my WiFi and have been using it for 3 years now…I’ve always said, if people have spotty WiFi, can’t blame hydros for that as some people are using a cheap ISP router and expect it to be reliable…problem is, people get a false sense of security with their other devices because they don’t alert you of the slightest drops…if you have a cheap ISP router, they have hardwired options like xp8
