Justyna actually provided me with some very useful behind the scenes notes after I'd finished the video. Apparently she did offer some more extraordinary versions of Little Miss, but Jared himself wanted to keep it simpler, which I can definitely respect. And apparently Robbie's "built like a JoJo" comment was a pretty spur of the moment thing in the game itself and came after the design was finalized, so obviously I can forgive that!
When I saw the name *Party Crashers* I immediately thought of a different group with the same name that’s mostly been known for their Mario Party content.
5:28 And of course, from 30's Radio Show and Comicbooks, the master detective with supernatural psychic abilities, the one "Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of men." The Shadow knows!.
Yeah, that was definitely a fun extra bit. I also loved Xanthe wearing Ryuji's shirt since her character does sort of seem to be the Ryuji of the group.
Shoutout to Eidolon: Become Your Best Self and its associated podcast, Eidolon Playtest, for being a Persona Tabletop RPG (and if you wanna to more persona ratings of non-persona personas, their Eidolons are partway between Stands and Personas so...good place to go)
Not Persona, but there ARE official MegaTen tabletop games. In fact, an SMT one based on Nocturne came out in English just this year from LionWing called Tokyo Conception. And as we see from this, you can adapt regular D&D to fit a Persona build.
If I had to be honest, I’m planning on doing a Persona based DnD with my friends and sister, and seeing this video, I do hope my idea comes into fruition
Good news, the rulebook for that SMT RPG got fully translated into English not too long ago. Could be something to wrangle some rules out of if you're looking for some experience like that.
So you comparing Aphrodite to Ella kinda surprised me because I got an entirely different visual connection from her. The Strength Full Moon boss in P3 looks really similar and even has a flowery barrier to protect the Fortune arcana in a similar vein to Aphrodite’s Heart Barrier.
Well obviously the answer is going to vary a bit depending on who you ask. Me, personally, I like when there's a consistent theme between the Personas. P4 stuck to Japanese figures, P5's Ultimates stuck to Trickster deities, etc. In Persona 5 X, the MAIN characters follow the initial Persona trends of P5, but most of the side characters just use minor Greek myths. That creates a disconnect between them that I personally don't like. Obviously, it also helps for the figure(s) to have an interesting narrative parallel to the character themselves. For example, Reiji from Persona 1's main arc is wanting to kill his brother, while his Ultimate Persona is Mot, whose main story also focuses on that. Of course these are just some of my thoughts. There's no one RIGHT way to do it, I suppose.

@strain42 is it ok if you can rank all of the 12 initial personas of my group the heart breakers?
I will try to send photos if that's alright
Thumb down for Crit Role. They always suck.
Who else was thinking of Party Crashers as in Vernias, Sophist, TCNick3, and King of Skill
Can’t say I was because I have no idea who that is 🤣
Yep, I thought the exact same.
Literally me.
I was too!

A collab channel that primarily Mario Party content.

Huh, what a neat idea for a sponsored promotion. Kudos to Atlus and Critical Role, I'm going to have to look it up.
Definitely a fun little one-shot to put on in the background. I've watched through it at least four or five times now while I was working on this lol
these designs r so cool x3 also respect for liam wearing akihiko cosplay xD

That one shot really made me wish there was an official persona ttrpg. It will just work so well.

An Otaku having Otakemaru as their persona, amazing
So you comparing Aphrodite to Ella kinda surprised me because I got an entirely different visual connection from her.

I could definitely see that!
my first vibes seeing Aphrodite was Rose Quartz from Steven Universe.
Ngl, most of this designs are pretty rad
Yeah, Justyna did a nice job!
Funny enough, I made Aphrodite for one of my friends for her initial persona
Yes yes yes yes i loved this campaign
It was fun, but as I said in the video, I'd love some non-Tactica based stories with them.
Can I ask what makes a good custom Persona? I’m writing a fanfic… thing, and I want to know if I’m doing it right.
