As good as Adam Bighill has been for us in the past, it's time he hangs them up and we move on. How many games has he played this season? Also when we needed him down the stretch last season he was injured. Father time has finally caught up with him and here we are in the critical time of the year and he's likely done for the season.
A BIG shout out to Biggie! He has played awesome for BC and the Big Blue consistently. He has great motivation in every game and I think he will be back - not a quitter and has a lot of grit. Definitely a high standard of play for all the rest of the players. Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery. In any case, he is needed for the playoffs and will star. As for the Banjo Bowl, the crowd will be extra motivated (after the cheap shot on Zach) to blow the Riders and the Rider fans out of Princess Auto with the noise. I think they will make the difference for a Bomber win. And Brady will definitely want to run over people after being held to low yardage last game. This game has the making of a classic equal to the Grey Cup match. Go Bombers!
I hope Bluto's prediction is right however they need to put an exclamation mark on this win and score TDs not FGs.....Zach needs to stop throwing picks and pull up his socks in this game. That being said the Riders are also desperate for a win and Harris has been hot. We need to cool him off and with all those changes in their O-Line we need Harris to have a miserable outing and keep him uncomfortable all day long. Brady needs to have a big game and the Riders have owned him in the previous two games like no other team.....we were somewhat lucky to win that last game and we need a statement game from this club if we want to stay in first place as BC is coming on strong and Rourke looks to be improving so the road to the GC game goes through BC who just beat the best two teams in the league in convincing fashion.
Gotta agree with Walby on the hit, he turned his head away so not to hit with his head. Was it illegal, yes as it was late and he was given a fine. But trying to pin intent to injure is a big stretch. His other penalty may have been against the rules but nothing he could do on that one.
