Hey man, I have an interface that usually works fine with it’s 2 inputs. However, when I go to select one of the inputs it only allows me to select input one and two in stereo form together. Sometimes I don’t get this issue but it pops up every now and again. Would appreciate any advice

Hey Patrick, if I understand your comment correctly it could be due to the number of channels the track has. If it’s a mono audio track (or Aux input) you will only be able to select a mono input. Input one or two. If it’s a stereo track then you will only be able to select a two channel input, one and two simultaneously.
Look at the meter on the track you’re trying to assign an input to. If it’s got a single meter, it’s mono. If you see two meters side by side on that track, it’s stereo. You may have to look closely at the track meter to see this. It may not be immediately obvious.
Let me know if I’m misunderstanding your question.

Hi Jon thanks for your response. I think I have fixed it, I had to make a new track by clicking control shift n and then selecting mono not stereo, which is what you mentioned so thanks
