  • I have a 2012 VW Beetle that seems to randomly set a P0106 MAP Sensor Performance code but it seems to be working all the time. Always check TSBs for issues you might have!

I know I'm very interested in taking the steps towards programming. Any examples, and tools are always super helpful!

The price for the DIY version of alldata has dramatically increased, making me move to ebay copies of the repair manual for many cars. Problem is, you lose TSB's, which can make all the difference.

Just a a heads up , back in the day map faults on a 2.5 L could be timing concerns.

Thank you for programming videos. Do you have experience with SnapOn J2534 Pro II working consistantly? I will be programming a GM and KIA.

I have the pro 4. I’m sure the 2 would be fine for older stuff but idk about the newer protocols.

@@autodiagyt Exactly my attitude. But damn, they're finicky bolts and wiring!
There's more programming on Euro stuff, and the equipment to do said programming is not cheap. In fact, using a generic scan tool puts one at a disadvantage right from the start. But yeah, they're interesting.
