    Yes, finding the Duplicated 2013B (New York) Star notes is very exciting, and finding a matched pair is the Highlight of searching currency straps!!! But not all 2013 B* were duplicated, Only notes in the first 250 thousand, or notes between 3.2-9.6 million, were accidentally duplicated. It seems like a lot, but there’s only been a couple dozen matched pairs found, and everyday that goes by, we lose more notes that are pulled and destroyed for normal wear and tear!

      Google "Project 2013B" and you will find the website where you can submit your serial numbers. If a matching serial number is found in their database, or in the future, they will contact you and the other banknote owner of your match and various ways you can proceed from there in you are interested in selling or buying. Their database currenly has over 50,000 serial numbers!

    Could you please do a video of all the different ones to look for and about what they are worth. I have well over $1000+ in $1 to $100 bills with things going on them about 50 + star notes
    In past month.

    I was recently in west virginia where i met a woman spoke about the 1974 twenty no one wanted because they thought counterfiet. Said her father passed and left old bills. Told her to not spend anymore until she looked up videos . Hope she did. Giver her an idea about selling.

    I have a 2017a with serial number D55535555A in good condition do you know what the value would be?

    • @coinrollandbankstraphunting
      @coinrollandbankstraphunting  ปีที่แล้ว

      Pegging an exact value would be tough. Condition would definitely play a role, but I've seen similar binary bills go for $50+.

    I have a 1978 2 dollar bill it missing series on one side is 7 numbers and 8 on the left how much is it worth?

    • @coinrollandbankstraphunting

      I've seen a circulated $1 note sell for $60 and an uncirculated $1 note graded 63 EPQ sell for $100 within past several months. The $2 bill would probably still fall somewhere within this range, maybe slightly higher if it were uncirculated.

    Where do u go to check on the value of the bills?

    • @coinrollandbankstraphunting

      Sold bills on eBay can show you a range of what a particular style of serial number, for example, has been recently selling for. This can give you an idea on current value of the bill.

    I always keep the older bills 2001 and older. Especially 1990,s 1980,s and older. I also keep all the ink errors on the 2017 bills.

      They are tough to match...only about a dozen have been matched out of the 6.65 million duplicates. Best of luck!

    i had recently went to my bank and got one hundred brand new dollars were the last serial numbers were a half step higher then the rest of them all one hundred of them . my question is is this worth any value other one hundred dollars?

    • @coinrollandbankstraphunting
      @coinrollandbankstraphunting  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If understanding this correctly, sounds like the midpoint of the last digit is inline with the tops of the rest of the digits. If so, that's a considerable offset. The bills also sound to be in uncirculated condition. From what I've seen sell in the marketplace, I believe the bundle would be worth more than face value. Nice grab!

    So how much are star notes going for?

    • @coinrollandbankstraphunting
      @coinrollandbankstraphunting  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There isn't a straightforward answer, since many factors come into play when assessing the value of a note (how rare it is, condition, errors, etc). One place to get an idea of a note's current value is on Ebay. You can search star notes that have recently sold, and get a general idea of the current market for those notes.

    Is that first one a web note?

    • @coinrollandbankstraphunting
      @coinrollandbankstraphunting  ปีที่แล้ว

      That first "older" bill from 1999 isn't a web note. The only years the web notes can be found in are the 1988, 1993, and 1995 series bills. A web note is found in this video: th-cam.com/video/-jU6ovdLkKI/w-d-xo.html

      From what I've seen sell in the marketplace, I don't believe that serial number has enough going on with it to provide any more value to the bill. It's not to say there aren't collectors out there who would pay a bit above face value for a serial number with single digit bookends, a pair, and triple...I just haven't seen that.
