Thank you for this video! I'm one of the nervous newbies. I bought a beginner kit a few weeks ago and have been staring at it for a while. I finally decided to make a dryer ball which involved layer after layer and took forever. I wish I had seen this first! I can't wait to move on to one of those adorable animals.
Hi Cheryl. Well the main thing is you're here now and you will have learnt a lot whilst adding all those layers. You will be making animals in no time 💞
Hi! I’m a newbie well I started a month ago. It’s the one thing that I can do with all my chronic conditions doesn’t induce more pain. I stopped here getting frustrated trying to make the sheep’s head!! This awesome!!
Haha! Thanks Tracey. I am so used to it that I don't even notice it anymore. I have let the chimes run down though... More to come in the New Year, no doubt featuring the clock :)

Thanks for watching. I have a great video on felting mats, which you will find really helpful. th-cam.com/video/udpal_8-83M/w-d-xo.htmlsi=OnmeMhzTjtdpKdPU The best way to protect your mat is to put a protective topper (wool or fabric) on top before you use it. This will make it last 10 times longer. To remove fibres, use a rubber dog brush or soft brush. 😊
@@thefelthub Thanks very much for your answer. Yeah, good idea to put a piece of fabric on my mat. I have never thought about it. I will try it. Thanks a good felting 🙂

I’m really doing quite well with your tutorials. My first sheep was only ok but my second sheep was cute. I wonder if I could do that hare?
You could totally do the hare if you’ve done the sheep. Once you have done one project you will be amazed how quickly you improve. Go for it! 🙌
Thank you! I shall take your advice.

What is inside your hessian pillow?
I use dried rice but dried lentils, beans etc will do just fine.
what wool is that you are using please.
For the body it's Jacob and the hat is Shetland. Both similar and felt quickly with few needle marks :)
