Oh.... Well im tryna watch this one i Haven't completed like i watch 28 min but... I don't really think it's good i feel kinda laged i think it's one of the weakest Ghibli movie what's your opinion maybe i should finish it
I think it had the potential to be the best ghibli film, I felt that it failed for me in the ending five minutes, which was where the story was heading to, ofc,i felt it would have felt much stronger if she just decided to return to the countryside without determining a role that she was expected to be, i.e, a wife, because the film kinds of tries to establish through its memories of how a child is indifferent from my an aged self, and how alienating yet familiar that self is to herself, the films primary motive is how much you've to lose of yourself to become an adult, so even if she wanted to be loved, in the end if she had decided to love herself the most, a life in the hills free from that burden she called life, it would have aged so well with this current time, I'm reminded of the film 'one million yen girl' quite similar yet it achieves what 'only yesterday' couldn't.

only yesterday. its a good movie mostly about a girl reminiscing her past while spending a vacation working a farm. good chill movie to curl up with a fluffy blanket, hot cup of choco and just relax.

Of the Ghibli films you've seen it's most like Whisper of the Heart - not much in the way of big action sequences or fantasy, but a very sweet, thoughtful story of a 27-year-old woman thinking back to her childhood days and examining how they led to her being who she is today, and where to go from there. You've seen three of Ghibli's best - my next recommendation depends on your mood. If you like large-scale, save-the-world fantasies full of battles and chases, Princess Mononoke. If you want something cute and wholesome but still with a few thrills, Ponyo. And if you're prepared to have your heart shredded into a thousand pieces, there's WWII drama Grave of the Fireflies (and for its case, while the other Ghibli films have great English dubs, I really suggest the original Japanese voicing is significantly better for Fireflies).
