- As soon as they announced the Tamiya Buggyra Fat Fox, I knew it was going to be a kit that I'd pick up. I had held off on the first 2 euro trucks, but this one looked just too cool. I went ahead and special ordered a Tamiya Buggyra Fat Fox from my local hobby shop (Ultimate Hobbies in Orange, CA). After a month and a half of waiting, it's finally in my hands!

I'm a little late but just bought this kit last night and then came across your unboxing. I watched your build series on Unimog and Gatekeeper and I also purchased those two kits.
Hope you enjoy it! It should be fun! The TT01E has been around a pretty long time, and is a pretty common chassis for Tamiya on-roads. The body is the best part about Tamiya kits though. Their lexan bodies are just gorgeous!
These Tamiya's are HOT right now! Well worth the wait! That body looks like that will be a fun project! Happy New Year!👍👍

Very nice! Good thing you got them before they run out since they're discontinued now. Parts won't be an issue, because it shares a bunch of parts with the Yeti, Wraith, Bomber, etc. Make sure you take care of the transmission housing and gears! That is a known weak spot!

@Bs Rc Yeah, I forgot to change the title screen on the first revision. I used the TH-cam editor to cut it out completely, but I still wasn't happy with it.
