New subscriber here. I’ve been to SE Asia more times than I can remember. Bangkok is the hub to all the other countries I have visited….Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, etc. it is always a good feeling to return to Bangkok and regroup before flying home again. Bangkok is dynamic, full of energy, full of history and the street food is second to none. I would fly to Thailand just to eat real Thai food! I’ve been to most of the sights to see in Bangkok and it’s refreshing to see how everyday life is living there. Your videos rock !! I always tell my friends, “If you can’t have fun in Bangkok and the rest of Thailand, you just can’t have fun!”. Thanks again for sharing you daily routine….makes me homesick 55555

@JoyceSin I love your videos. Thank you for sharing them. I just moved to Bangkok 6 days ago from Canada. I used to live here when I was child from 6 years old to 12 years old. Then moved Canada. I was born in Laos. I always thought Thailand is my homeland. I love every minute of it now that I am here. But I hated the rush our traffic. So I bought an E-scooter but it didn’t cut it on it Bangkok side walk Lol. So I bought an Ebike instead. Keep up the good work on making your videos. I hope you reach million subscribers.🙏🏽

Hi Joyce! It's rainy season in thailand until late October; unfortunately thing is, we can't predict when the rain will fall when we're outside, especially in Bangkok. So it would be nice if you could have a small umbrella or portable raincoat with you while you're outside to protect you from catching a cold🤧
PS: I don't want my favorite TH-camr to get sick 😊
You can't predect when rainy season will start and end in Thailand either. Seems very late this year! Loads of people getting Dengue fever so watch out for those mosquitos; Dengue kills alot of people in Thailand.
I’m surprised that your tone when speaking Thai is pretty good. most Thai language learners especially westerners have trouble with the tones.

Glad that you love Bangkok and Thailand and wish you stay there and eventually you will be able to speak Thai fluently. Also, different parts of Thailand have different flavors from mountains to beaches I am sure you will have a great time there. Oh the flood. That's why I was contemplating to go to Bangkok this month for some sort of change atmosphere from Khon Kaen here in the northeast region. Same wet rainy weather. October is the transition towards the winter. It's a bit cooler now here in Khon Kaen. Khon Kaen has lesser flooded area. Later it will be 24 degrees Celsius. 2 years ago, we have the coldest at 8 degrees Celsius. Anyways, if I decide to go to Bangkok for sure I'll be checking your vlogs. 😄 Cheers!

Hi Joyce, try the thai lemongrass drink and you will love it. Chrysanthemum and lemongrass drink are my favorite in Bangkok...!!!
I spend about 1500-2000 baht a week. However, I do cook at home and my mom raids the pastry stores.. so we spend on snacks/treats and plus we tend to also grab dinner at a food court or those food markets have buy 1 get 1 free or other deals in the evening. Perhaps you could eat more at platinum fashion mall food court (if you love central area) or pier 21 food court is good value as well.

You should have an umbrella or raincoat with you when going out during the rainy season. Take care of yourself, and don't catch a cold being in the rain too much.

This season is the rainy season, take care of yourselves by avoiding to get wet in the rain because you may catch a cold and become sick but if you necessary get outside while it's raining , you should carry a small umbrella 😊

You can live cheaply in Thailand but if you are from somewhere else and experiencing Thailand you don't want to be too cheap. Thus its important to have those splurge moments and enjoy your time here. BTW always enjoy your videos; your smile and positivty picks us up when we are having a bad day! Why don't you do a video on where you came from in the US, what you were doing before you came to Thailand (work/daily life, etc)?
I have done many laps at that track and so enjoyed the Tues, Thurs, and Friday market. Thank you for sharing so good to see. If I may offer some advice your condo would unstopp your toilet for you.
