So I’ve been making corset dresses with a difrent pattern… I just decided to use your pattern cos of how neat and rounded your cup is and I must say it came out greattttttttt … the cup was really cupping. Thank you mercy, you’re blessing 🤗🤗
Love love love❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ i would love them to be made in seperate parts but either ways youre a very good teacher and i love and look forward to your tutorials❤❤❤ cant wait for the sewing part❤
This video tempts me to try replicating this pattern making process right away :) Thank you so much! As to the speed of the video - well, the playback speed is adjustable here on youtube, so that shouldn't be a problem
Amen! And yours too🙏. I’m not very used to Helen Armstrong, but I know they use only a waist dart and their bust contouring technique is a bit different. But if know the technique of dividing the waist dart to the shoulder ( to have to sets of dart) then you should be able to use this same method of bust contouring. I hope this helps❤️
😃😃. I get you! If you’ve followed my other socials, you’d never catch me talking about totes or scrunchies. For me, I followed a method from scratch .. learning to use the sewing machine( most important part) if it’s just constantly practicing sewing straight lines at first , then learnt patternmaking starting from the most basic pattern ( a skirt block) and on from there. I actually just started a sewing for beginners series on my second TikTok account (@sewingsavvy07) teaching the exact methods I learnt and have used to also teach others. ( I might bring it over to TH-cam when I complete the series there) The most important thing is to keep trying, make mistakes, correct it, keep going. It’s just paper and fabric! Patience and practice will take you such a long way! Wishing you all the best!! If you have questions .. I’ll be happy to answer them ❤️
I wanted to be sure before I responded, I’ve not seen an industrial sew a zig zag stitch ( atleast the one I have) .. I tried researching, just found a zig zag foot( with a wider gap on the foot) not sure how that works to be honest .
Very detailed explanation, using both the cm and inches is a bit confusing, but it’s manageable

But do you always use a pattern for your corset
No free hand or using already made bra cup ?
And what’s the difference?
Yes I always use pattern. And I find it easier to make bust cups from the pattern.
