So what i heard on a gita recital seems to be wrong
When silk balan first met thapovana swamy and requested to accept him as his deciple many conditions he told .no tea or coffee
Just 1 time food that too get by bhikhsha
Dont receive more than 3 chappatis and little rice
Half to swamy and the other half for balan
Daily dont visit more than 3 houses and if nothing reced come back and starve that day
Such terrible conditions
Later after balan became chinmayananda Daily basis 5 course dinner was served to him and people were competing to feed him

Also heard that balan went to swamiji for an interview for his news paper and wanted to reveal to the world that sanyasi is just an eye wash etc etc and later great divine twist occurred
