You know in the 2010’s decade, animation fans were mad at the Oscar’s for not nominating other great animated films at the best animated films category but instead at the Annies, and if that wasn’t enough, they’re was Fox’s Rio & The Peanuts Movie, Warner Bros’ The Lego Movie and Universal’s Despicable Me!
(*WARNING: THIS IS A HELLA LONG COMMENT THAT INCLUDES MINI REVIEWS OF BOTH "TS3" AND "HTTYD." READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!*) Now, I'm a big fan of your reviews. You have so much passion and dedication to the medium of animation, and it truly shows. Your reviews have gotten so much better in time, and you even acknowledge in your review of HTTYD 2 that it's the *execution* of HTTYD's story that makes it work. I'd actually love to see you re-review HTTYD, I'd even pay for it on Patreon, just to see how much your opinions (or more, the explanation of your opinions) have changed over time. Edit: Mini review of TS3 and HTTYD *GO!* TS3 *Fantastic animation all around, in regards to textures, movements, shading and so much more. The way they transformed the look of the film from The Sims 2 quality of the first TS, to an almost flawless upgrade in TS3 is honestly something to admire. I love how Pixar make things look so realistic without entering the uncanny valley. Special shout-out goes to the Octopus (that glitter and giggliness oml) and Lotso (excelent use of squash and stretch, with amazing texturess. Looked like and even moved the way a teddy should move). (Animation - 10/10) *The characters are lovable, brilliantly voiced and, for the most part, fantastically written. The highlight of the returning cast is Tom Hanks, who embodies Woody in every way possible. His acting chops are so well tuned, that you don't see Tom, you see Woody, from his vocal cues, line delivery and stubborn take-no-shit attitude. Blake Clarke is an inspired replacement for the late Jim Varney. Of the new characters, it's Michael Keaton's Ken that steals the show. Keaton *is* Ken, no other actor could play Ken now that Keaton has. He's got the right mixture of cocky, naive and feminine and of course, grooviness. It's amazing that Pixar tracked down the original voice of Andy, and he does a good job (even Sid's original VA gets a cameo!) Each character remains true to form without going overboard. The only character issue I have also blends in with the issues I have with the story; the fact that the Toys are so adamant that Woody is wrong, when he has *zero reason* to lie to them. Also, while I'm not a huge fan of Lotso himself, his character blends brilliantly in with the overacrhing themes of loss and abandonment. (Characters - 9/10). *The story is just overall patchy and inconsistant to me. I do love how they bring back themes of abandonment, growing up and letting go, but feel like TS2 touched on this much better, and with more subtlety. The tone is quite inconsistant, going from dark to light sporadically and with not much reason. However, my biggest problem with the film is the "Great Escape." How is it that Woody and Buzz were able to escape the room without being seen by the monkey? He'd have to be placed on watch the day Woody escaped, and even then, how did the PlaySkool Phone know about everything that was going down? Yes, you could argue that he heard it through air-vents (since he was close to the cieling and virtually unseen), but that seems like a stretch to me. Also, the Phone states that Woody "got lucky." Ok, so how in god's name did Buzz get out??? And how is it that only Big Baby caught him, when he got to the vending machine? If he was as big a threat as the Phone suggested, he'd have been there from the get go, or at least directly after Woody escaped; it's Buzz going undetected that really fudges up the story for me. The Escape itself is handled well, and of course, the incinerator scene is as perilous as a scene in a film like this can get. The end scene with Andy and the Toys is a bit too sentimental for me; he gives a little story about each one (especially Slinky which is bullshit since he's my favourite after Rex xD), which seems like overkill. The playing with toys, I can relate to in a sense because I'm a pretty big kid at heart, but I do feel like the final scene (save for "so long, partner") was possibly Pixar's single most heavy handed moment, all at the expense of nostalgia. Still made me tear up, tho, so I guess I'm a hypocrite. (Story - 7/10) Overall; TS3 = 8/10/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HTTYD * The animation is easily some of the best in the industry. The one problem I have is that in the opening "excuse me barmaid!" scene, Hiccup looks a bit unrendered. *THAT'S IT.* That's the *ONLY* flaw I could find in the animation, which is damn impressive. The cinematography is just outstanding, from the scenery, to the lighting and shading (Forbidden Friendship scene stands out to me as the best looking scene in the film), and the aerodynamics... I mean, I'm not a pilot, but the amount of work they put into the camera angles and even the movement when flying Toothless is just... it's amazing. The character animation is top notch, especially on Toothless, who is still to me the single best animated non-speaking character in film. The way his pupils dialate and expand depending on his emotions, how his ears twitch and how sleek and shiny he is, the way his wings expand and how graceful and spry he is despite his size. The other dragons loom great too, but my god, Toothless is a work of art in and of himself. Onto the human character animation, it's also fantastic, especially on Stoick and Hiccup, showing the range of emotions that can be potrayed without saying a word. I adore the character design, and the textures all around is just amazing. The only film to improve on CGI is its sequel. (animation -10/10) * The characters are executed in such a way that it makes the age old tropes seem fresh and new to me. Hiccup's voice suits the nerdy yet curious viking, while Butler gives his best performance with a ride range of emotions in just a few short sentences. The characters all seem so realized and polished, right down to even the Terrible Terror and Gothi. Even the comic reliefs are actually funny, without detracting from the heart of the story. But theres three characters that stand out to me; Toothless, Hiccup and Stoick. The way the relationship between Hiccup and Toothless evolves is just a perfect blend of atmosphere, timing and even music. No words are needed to show the bond bewteen the pair. We see them learn together, train together, bond together. Hiccup and Toothless are a fantastic variation of the Ying-Yang relationship; both are outcast, both different and misunderstood, both are quirky and intelligent beyond their peers. I like Toothless more (the animation along with Randy Thom's sound engineering turn him into a living, breathing creature), but Hiccup, thanks to quiet moments and observation, stands above the Napolean Dynamite type into a fleshed out character. Stoick, on the other hand, is just like is son in many ways, from his clumsiness to his inability to listen. I'll get more into the relatinship in the story analysis, but let's just say that it's the similarities between the two spark the conflict and than sooth it. Also, much like Toothless, it's the subtle details in Stoick's animation that launch him from grumpy dad, to just as lost as his son. Overall, the characterizations in HTTYD are incredibly fine tuned and exceptional. (Characters - 10/10) * The story is what Animat says; the boy and his dog story mixed with prejudice, coming of age and the underdog tale. That does not make it bad by any means of the word. In fact, the execution is, in my opinion, flawless. As an aspiring writer, it was important for me to learn that there are many variations of the same story over time, from original stories, to adaptations. Disney uses old tales and plays for their works, and builds constantly on the Disney formula to create (mostly) fresh stories each time. It's how one takes the old tropes, and molds them into a story that shows how the story is as a whole. For me, HTTYD's story is done brilliantly. How? The pacing, the passion, the atmosphere, the music, the acting and the animation all merge together to form a fantastic fable. We don't see a goofy animal and his kid. No, this is "Old Yeller" style or even "Shiloh," where the protagonist learns to bond with a creature over time, and earns their friendship. We don't see Hiccup just befriend Toothless, we see him watch, learn and take his time with him, even making him a new tail so he can fly again. When he can't fly on his own, Hiccup modifies a saddle with a pull string attached to the tail, so Toothless can fly *with* him, with the pair, while perfecting the techniques over time, completley earning one another's trust. Hiccup isn't just a dweeb; he's an observer, an learner, a thinker who never loses his touch on reality. Toothless isn't just a dragon; he's a sentient creature with a mind of his own. Stoick isn't just a cranky middle-aged single dad; he's desperate for his son to be the pride of Berk, so he can rise above the ridicule, he sees Hiccup in himself, and so is trying to save him from destruction by hampering him. This is why it hurts him so much when he casts Hiccup away; it's tossing a piece of himself aside. The story becomes even stronger an more poignant when you tie in the sequel. The story of HTTYD is excuted like a finely tuned, antique violin; it's old and loved, but with the proper care, it makes amazing music. Also the music in HTTYD is so amazing how it didn't win the Oscar blows my mind. P.s. I obviously agree with Doug Walker ALOT in his views on HTTYD.
@@sirtophamhatt8204 yup. brilliant film. it would've been my second choice after zootopia. zootopia still deserved it though. I thought kubo and the two strings' uses of magic were kind of out of nowhere and never really explained, and the second half of the film did not live up to the first half. that really made the difference for me. anyway, that "best of the year" statement I made has been rendered obsolete since I've seen your name.
How To Train Your Freaking Badass Dragon's story is better then Toy Story 3's!!! We don't care if we seen the story before, they made in a awesome way!! Toy Story 3 had elements that were reash of the second movie!!
The Oscars this year was a bit more satisfying than last year's. That is really strange though. How can Dreamworks receive 39 nominations while Disney only received 7 and only won one out of all of them? I agree with with you because I'm like you. I'm more of a Disney/Pixar fan then a Dreamworks fan, and Disney has defiantly been doing really well these past couple of years.
This is like your darkest video, man you sounded VERY angry....kinda scary.....man you must really not appreciate the dragon as much as most critics but ya you've said that, I definitely agree with you on how the Annies was unfairly dominated by Dreamworks.
Whoa! "How to Train Your Dragon" beat "Toy Story 3"!?!?!?! I really liked that movie, but it didn't hold a candle to TS3!! *Sigh* Viacom strikes again. (as if I didn't hear enough of their antics from Mike Mozart.) Let's just pray they'll take you're advice about changing. Btw: I'm so touched you included my fan picture of you in here! Thank you so much!! :')
AniMat, I really don't know what so say, so here it goes: you did the right thing! You've taken one of the biggest conspiracies in the animation industry and completely bashed it for the piece of crap that it is. In fact, you should start your own animation awards ceremony on TH-cam. At least you'd do it fairly!!
Yeah I agree, TS3 should've won best writing in that category... Honestly, Dragon was fun to watch, but the writing was weak/story was a bit cliche. Also factor in how Dragon's story was basically rewritten LAST MINUTE...
..Damn. HTTYD won all those awards? I mean..I liked the movie, but that's just ridiculous. While I preferred HTTYD as it appealed more to my interests (...and I just love Sanders's work in general), TS3 was obviously the better movie. More original story, superior characters, and in all was more mature in its themes. I think both deserve a lot of credit, but HTTYD winning EVERYTHING just shows the extreme bias. Bloody corruption. -__-
You kind of scared me in this. But you're right, Toy Story 3 should've won all of the emmies, espicially the story it was so freakin' original!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@ChronoKnuckles Ice Age 3 was stupid as fuck. I should know. I worked on it. But the first two Ice Ages were pretty good. Everyone went to see it because they thought it would be good just like the first two. So, I didn't expect anyone to really know what they were paying to see. And Up made quite a bit of money on it's own, as Pixar films often do. And besides, Pixar doesn't give a shit about money. And if they happened to go bankrupt, they'd have billions of dollars in Disney and Apple stock!
Very Interesting video. Toy Story 3 should have got best picture. I just hope one day Animation will get this award someday and gets respect. Who knows, the new generation of animators could be anyone on websites such as youtube as of this comment. 2D animation must return in my opinion.
I agree 100% when an amazing film like toy story 3 doesnt win best animated feature you know somethings not cosure.dragons a good movie and it along with kung fu panda and especialy megamind show dreamworks is getting better but TS3 gets the audience emotionaly involved,it made everyone either cry or choked up it deserved that award like it deserved oscars best picture(Inception as well)but like this bias prevents it from gaining recognition deserved.
What is wrong with Hicups voice? I have lisen to your irritating voice in 3 videoseries so I am not complaining.....or did I just that? (just kiding). I agree on your points. When comes the Don Bluth Lookback?
He says ''bullshit'', ''unbearable'', and a pile of critical things.... and then ''it's not a bad film''. But *come on*!! Everyone can think what he wants, and I understand that some people can not like it, but *you* have to try to understand who likes the movie too! I find Dreamworks movies *way* better than Disney's, but I don't say that Disney sucks, at all! Especially after what we saw in Frozen! Dreamworks won? Disney not?! For *one time* that this happens just let it be! If HTTYD won all maybe, and I say *maybe*, there's a why(?) There are just some like you who can't see it! Try to open your eyes instead of always stay in your little Disney world and accept it!
At 2:29 he clearly states that if it was the other way around he would still think it's suspicious... I'm a fan of HTTYD too, but I do know that it's not perfect. The plot is one that has been used over and over and the sub characters were kind of basic. It certainly shouldn't have been on the nominations for EVERY award.
WOW that's unbelieveable and not in a good way dreamworks just sucks the life out of stuff that is pixar and How to train your dragon wasn't that good compared to toy story 3. And they are also are making a sequel and televison series and which is going suck the life out of pixar and all it's other films Like monster inc 2 which I also hope that it gets nominated for best picture for the 2013 acadamy awards. And it didn't matter if kung fu panda won all the awards over wall.e because it beaten.
The same happens with the Rock Hall of Fame 2014, Nirvana is in because of two reasons: 1. Is the fucking 20th anniversary of Cobain's fucking death 2. THE FUCKING PEOPLE CAN VOTE THE INDUCTEES IN THE WEBPAGE Leaving Yes, Deep Purple, Supertramp (they didn't even get nominated) etc. out, when they deserve it more... (In the other hand, Cat Stevens, Peter Gabriel and Brian Epstein deserve it...)
Yeeaaaah. Ok. HTTYD won for best writing over Toy Story 3? Normally, I would chalk that up to being someone else's opinion, but not this time. I have to agree here, I call bullshit and I'm not even a fan of the Toy Story trilogy. Even when I was little, I wasn't too crazy about the first movie. But the 3rd was really good. Was not expecting them to take it as far as they took it, and they did. HTTYD winning for best writing over Toy Story 3 doesn't make sense. : /
I hope that they do change, because if "Kung Fu Panda 2" beats "Adventures of Tintin" this year, I'm gonna be peeved. Don't get me wrong, "Kung Fu Panda 2" is good, I just like "Adventures of Tintin" more.
If You Think The Annie’s Was Rigged, Disney Rigged The Oscars For Best Animated Film First Off Disney Has A Win Count Of 4 (Encanto Is Gonna Win) Now That Maybe Non Impressive But Pixar, Oh God Pixar. They Have A Win Count Of 11, Putting Those To Together Equals 15, Now Their Has Been 21 Shows Since 2001 (The Year That They Made The Award) Meaning 6 Movies Won Best Animated Film They Are: Shrek, Spirited Away, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse Or The Were-Rabbit, Happy Feet, Rango And Spider Man Into The Spiderverse. Let That Sink In
oh you not understand bro, that is not correct, because first, Pixar is the Most Recivied of Achivmient Studios in the world, like, how you supposed to be saying for Disney rigged?!, that's not because are just for money is for the quality of their films, like, Cars was an okay film but cannot nominated in there, Ratatouille was the most important film in that decade, Walle is a trully masterpiece about love, Up is the Best Picture of Original Music and Story, Toy Story 3 was the best trilogy were you to imaginate how the toys are almost dying, inside out was the best picture for A Greatfully emotional landscape for this emotions A Masterpiece, coco was an amazing musical adventure of the whole film, Soul is a mature packed-adventure with a truly original film to create and This how You can created MASTERPIECES FILM.
@ChronoKnuckles Of course. And just like you have your opinion, I have mine: Pixar's films, over all odds, are of higher quality in most ways than the films of DreamWorks. That's the opinion I'm sticking by. I don't hate DreamWorks's films. I happen to love Shrek, Shrek 2, Over The Hedge, and HTTYD. Hell, Antz is way better than A Bugs Life. But I just find Pixar's films better, just like most people. Here's three major proofs that I think support my opinion. You can take em any way you like.
Didn't answer what I said, but meh. No, not flaming. Only 'flaming' part you might be able to argue is Hiccup's annoyance, which in all honesty he has a point. Actor can get on your nerves, just maybe not to the extent ElectricDragon described. Everything else he said was completely accurate, and fanboys should deal with it already. Story and characters are not great in HTTYD, and thus he's completely justified in criticizing them.
WOW that's unbelieveable and not in a good way dreamworks just sucks the life out of stuff that is pixar and How to train your dragon wasn't that good compared to toy story 3.
I agree with this video whole heartedly! I have never watched, nor have I heard of, the annies before this. But now, I can see that you are right Electrondragon505! Animation fans unite!
I don't trust the Annies. I don't trust them because in a year that nominated such vocal performances as Patrick Warburton in The Emperor's New Groove and MARK HAMILL IN BATMAN BEYOND: RETURN OF THE JOKER, the winner of the Annie Award for Voice Acting in a Feature Production was EDDIE MURPHY in SHREK. EDDIE MURPHY BEAT MARK HAMILL'S JOKER. Like if you know that this is complete bullcrap.
@MrAndrewsaccount92 Umm...this year Tintin won best animated picture so basicly they didn't really rig the best animated feature category (plus Chicken Run is the reason the category was created)
ok calm down buddy, with dragon it was based on a book, a book so for writing it just just taking the book. i think there is a consipiracy to break the disney empire because dreamworks is jealous and so they throw money at the watchamacallit to make disney mad and so they leave. and its everyone's fault
I fucking can't believe spongebob won out against Regular Show. Fuck! Disney has nothing to do with toy story 3 they just give Pixar the money to make good movies they hardly can. eh How to Train your Dragon deserved it Shrek ever after doesn't deserve to be mentioned. In the end it's a matter of opinion and hiccup ruled. Should send this ot the people in charge of the annies eh?
how to train your dragon was the best movie. i agree with you in a lot of things. not this. the story was GOOD. ARE YOU SERIOUS WITH HICUP AS A BAD CHARACTER, yes, i am training my night fury to find you lol. BUT I DO find it funny it won ALL 10 movies awards...
Lawl. If you didn't bother to see TS3, how can you be so firm that HTTYD is "clearly the best animated feature of 2010"? Besides, he didn't flame it. What he said is exactly right about the film. While I don't agree as much towards Hiccup's annoyance (after months of listening to squeaky high pitched anime girls, you get used to weird voices), the movie's story is by far average. The animation and direction deserves the credit, but the film is overrated. Annie Awards was incredibly corrupt.
i agree about being angry about Dragons winning in writing, from someone who read the book, the writing was not that good, a.k.a. they changed several of the characters (and for what seemed like no reason), they changed the plot of the story (heck if it was a more popular book there would be as many complaints about it as there are for Cirque Du Freak), and the biggest thing they changed Hiccup's special power of being able to speak Dragonese (dragon language) plus what Toothless looks like.
How do you know they didn't rig the Annies? We're you there?! I don't think you were! HTTYD is NOT underappreciated. In my opinion, it's fucking overrated! Much like Avatar, it contains two stories that we have seen over and over again in hundreds of countless films! Toy Story has a true and near-flawless story and characters! NO ONE I know hated HTTYD. They all loved HTTYD! But they loved TS3 more! And TS3 deserves all the credit going to it. Good trilogies are rare, you know.
Freedom of speech people! I sadly knew this would happen, when I saw the news about Disney/Pixar deciding not to fund the Annies anymore I knew that DreamWorks would see it's chance and swoop in. It's kind of sad if that's how the Annies work, the more cash you give the more likely you'll get picked. Toy Story 3 did have a better story and better writing, but I think Dreamworks should be given credit due to their achievements in animation; HTTYD had some of the best animation i've seen yet.
As much as I love HTTYD, I think Toy Story 3 deserved the best writing award.
It's spelled there not they're
Oh my lord! Matt said *bullshit* people, the next closest thing to a cuss word, is a cuss word.
Didn't he say "fuck" in Top 10 Scariest Disney Moments?
Yeah, in part 2 of Scariest Disney Moments he said the f-word at 7:01.

Your'e inspiring me to talk about this years Kids Choice Awards...
I totally agree with the number 1 change for the Annies! It's just biased and stupid the animators can vote for their own film!
5:16 HE JUST SAID A SWEAR!
Honestly the Oscars are also rigged as hell when it comes to animation.
@InsideOut&DreamWorks Fan2001 I know I'm 3 years late but zootopia was definitely the best animated movie that year.
The Oscars will also nominated movies that got mixed-to-negative reviews such Shark Tale and The Boss Baby
@@mariajimenafigueroa8311 that's only happened 3 times ever.
@@jclkaytwo have you ever watched Kubo and the Two Strings
@@sirtophamhatt8204 yup. brilliant film. it would've been my second choice after zootopia. zootopia still deserved it though. I thought kubo and the two strings' uses of magic were kind of out of nowhere and never really explained, and the second half of the film did not live up to the first half. that really made the difference for me.
anyway, that "best of the year" statement I made has been rendered obsolete since I've seen your name.
I agree with Hiccup Haddock dude I wouldn't of been as mad but what you did with the Toothless heads!!! Man you just crossed the line!!!!!!
How To Train Your Freaking Badass Dragon's story is better then Toy Story 3's!!! We don't care if we seen the story before, they made in a awesome way!! Toy Story 3 had elements that were reash of the second movie!!
Tangled deserved an award. It still hasn't won anything though it's so lovely!
Theres something wrong with this judges if they pick HTTYD over Tangled
I loved this, nice job.
I think I would be confused too if a certain movie won to many awards.
This shocked me when I first saw this and I was relieved at the sequel
all sponsors are equal but some are more equal than others.
Dreamworks is no longer part of Viacom because Comcast bought them in 2016.
I agree. Jay Baruchel was really bad at Hiccup. When he screams, it sounds so fake. -.-
The Oscars this year was a bit more satisfying than last year's.
This whole situation with the Annies made me hate HTTYD.
Oh yeah, I just said that. *gets out a folding chair and some popcorn*
+LordKraken3
Ohno an opinion! RUN BEFORE THE INTERNET POLICE COME!
The Annie Awards,
More like the Hiccups and Toothless Awards
Thanks for the insight. Don't get me wrong; I love HTTYD, but I had no ideas that the Annie's were that unbalanced
I think HTTYD was good in the music and animation department, but Toy Story 3 was better in almost everything else.
I agree, though that TS3 should have gotten writing.
Dude, you're back!!
I didn't think the story itself in How to train your dragon was anything original but the execution was much better than in TS3.
Yeah I agree, TS3 should've won best writing in that category...
Honestly, Dragon was fun to watch, but the writing was weak/story was a bit cliche. Also factor in how Dragon's story was basically rewritten LAST MINUTE...
I agree. Watching the annies in 2008 and 10 I knew there was something WAY too fishy about the winners
If you thought the Annie Awards was rigged, you should have checked out the 2020 Game Awards.
I swear, Ghost of Tsushima got robbed
What?! Hiccup is the most annoying character ever created by DW?! Are you FUCKING kidding me?!
Makes me wish I put up my Oscar Perdiction episode! I had the same thought you had about Dragons!
But you're right, Toy Story 3 should've won all of the emmies, espicially the story it was so freakin' original!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
in Dreamworks How To Train Your Dragon the book it was based on had a better story line than the movie
Remind me to give bombcat a cookie...her drawing of you was so cute! :D
The annie awards should be called the dreamy(dreamworks) awards
Very Interesting video. Toy Story 3 should have got best picture. I just hope one day Animation will get this award someday and gets respect. Who knows, the new generation of animators could be anyone on websites such as youtube as of this comment. 2D animation must return in my opinion.
God, the Annies suck today.
I liked How to Train Your Dragon. But when you compare that movie to Toy Story 3, there is none. Toy Story 3 is far superior to that film.
What is wrong with Hicups voice? I have lisen to your irritating voice in 3 videoseries so I am not complaining.....or did I just that? (just kiding).
I agree on your points.
When comes the Don Bluth Lookback?
I felt the same way when Rango won more awards than Kung Fu Panda 2
well it won 4 than all of them
He says ''bullshit'', ''unbearable'', and a pile of critical things.... and then ''it's not a bad film''.
If HTTYD won all maybe, and I say *maybe*, there's a why(?)
There are just some like you who can't see it!
Klutzy Ninja Kitty It still comes off as he just personally didn't like their choices, so CLEARLY it must be rigged. Now THAT is bullshit.
for me annie awards SUCKS >:(
WOW that's unbelieveable and not in a good way dreamworks just sucks the life out of stuff that is pixar and How to train your dragon wasn't that good compared to toy story 3.
The same happens with the Rock Hall of Fame 2014, Nirvana is in because of two reasons:
1. Is the fucking 20th anniversary of Cobain's fucking death
2. THE FUCKING PEOPLE CAN VOTE THE INDUCTEES IN THE WEBPAGE
Leaving Yes, Deep Purple, Supertramp (they didn't even get nominated) etc. out, when they deserve it more...
(In the other hand, Cat Stevens, Peter Gabriel and Brian Epstein deserve it...)
If it was possible to give you more than one thumbs up, you definately deserve it!
Yeeaaaah. : /
@2:03, yay, phineas and ferb!
I couldn't agree with you more. I love How to Train Your Dragon and all, BUT this is RIDICULOUS!
This video is like myself with the 2002 Oscars in a nutshell
Well justice is always served at the oscars. SUCK ON THAT DREAMWORKS!!!!
Why couldn't they do a recount
@CrystalJupiter
Actually no. TS3 felt a bit too long and I can't think rewatching it for some time.
I hope that they do change, because if "Kung Fu Panda 2" beats "Adventures of Tintin" this year, I'm gonna be peeved. Don't get me wrong, "Kung Fu Panda 2" is good, I just like "Adventures of Tintin" more.
How to Train Your Dragon was very good, but I really thought Tangled deserved animation awards. Also, I didn't mind Hiccups voice.
Do you know there was a short explaining and showing more dragons than the movie, also read the books they are a great read
You know, I’m surprised that you didn’t mention best voice actor
If You Think The Annie’s Was Rigged, Disney Rigged The Oscars For Best Animated Film
First Off Disney Has A Win Count Of 4 (Encanto Is Gonna Win) Now That Maybe Non Impressive But Pixar,
Oh God Pixar.
And the Oscar Goes to...... The King's Speech! I Was Overjoyed when that happend mostly beacuse it beat The Social Network and Toy Story 3!
@xPosskx I agree. I enjoyed HYTTD and Tangled almost as much, but TS3 is the clear winner.
wow how is she swore today
@twilightangel004 Did you use Bioshock music?
Surprised AniMat Said Shit.
So am I, I didn't even remember that he said it until watching it again recently.
Lenfield_P XD Yeah i Know Right
cartoon lover girl Hey! :)
Cool. I'm goin' well too.
WOW that's unbelieveable and not in a good way dreamworks just sucks the life out of stuff that is pixar and How to train your dragon wasn't that good compared to toy story 3.
@5:18, you sound really mad. LOL at the pile of bullcrap!
If this was the case then, it definitely isn't now.
I sure do hope the Annie's do change there way of voting.
*Everything will be Alright.
Both films were excellent, but I do honestly agree with you, even if you sound like InvisibleCrane on a little bit of helium. :P
Continued from below: My suggestion? Have one representative from each studio vote once. Then, studios can't make voting farms out of their employees.
CONGRATS HTTYD YOU WON THE ANNIES XD
Changes 1-3, but ElectricDragon, that makes sense!
Why did you put scary music
@MrAndrewsaccount92 Umm...this year Tintin won best animated picture so basicly they didn't really rig the best animated feature category (plus Chicken Run is the reason the category was created)
2:28 Drained Memories from Bioshock is playing.
I agree.
nice video, you made very valid and smart decisions to how to change the Annies and I agree that the Annies may have been rigged
Why was your thing on the companies not related to the movies?
I liked the 12 Angry Men pic. :)
ok calm down buddy, with dragon it was based on a book, a book so for writing it just just taking the book. i think there is a consipiracy to break the disney empire because dreamworks is jealous and so they throw money at the watchamacallit to make disney mad and so they leave. and its everyone's fault
I got a link to this through that Annie’s on TH-cam
Actually, Up got nomination for Best Picture last year lol. But ya, very rare.
10:21 u sound like Josh from drake & Josh
spongebob should end now. it's been too long. the first 6 seasons weren't that bad. now it sucks balls.
You're going off-topic.
@sanjurosama And those are the people behind what movies?
@GomeztheWolf
To me TS3 didn't have enough character interaction and it had too much action and slapstick and a bit too long epilogue.
Lawl. Thank you for completely missing the point and have a good day.
