Turns out today LW give Hastur a major upgrade, so consider this video outdated now, not to worries, I will be making an update for him but only highlighting the changes, synergy changes and I'll see what more, so look forward it!
I don't think I can think of a change to a character this close to release lol. It significantly decreases his potential synergy but it also makes him significantly less of a pain to work with outside of those very specific teams. Although apparently amdusc was changed to have a vigor effect so fast I thought he always had that.
i tried to get this cutie lizard, but the RNG in the gacha really said "no you aint" 😢

Subscribed since it's hard to find analysis for this game lol. My opinions will probably change when it comes to clearing actual content but as of now hastur is kinda just a guy I put behind summer shiva while farming the current event since shivas true range of a 3x3 square in front of him is significantly better than hasturs which is kinda just a circle around him. Farming quests also changed to have only 3 waves so shiva's weirdly good lol. I kinda fell off the story since remembering where you left off on the memories and waiting for translations is a hassle but it's neat to see that they can still make really good characters with thematic kits. Theres a lot of superficial synergies like being able to apply his debuffs to units that incidentally happen to care about what they are but it's doubtful someone like shennong or summer jugo like him more than he likes the generic solution to a character that doesn't need to move that is leanan sidhe although tangaroa infinity probably enjoys him even if theres some overlap.
Most appreciated for your comment! Yeah he have quite a few synergies, it's just that the most important ones are too specific
About mugen Tangaroa, the only debuff that overlaps is stigma, but since the other 2 doesn't and stigma have rather a short duration you can still obtain better and prologued results
I like using double Hastur with Krusha. If anyone does survive it's going to be from guts. Team cost is getting a little annoying to deal with tho.
