I really appreciate this video! Doing steel roofing for the interior of a workshop and I can use this for all my J-channel around the windows! Thank you!!
Good basics, try inter locking by just notching & keeping the side channel square it will tuck into and lock into the small curved area of the 45 degreed top channel🤩, try it, you find it keeps the corners tight.
Thank you for this video. May I ask you if you would recommend using the foam inserts into the corner siding post? Can be used with outside corner pieces when installing TimberCrest I/S insulated siding These are available at Home Depot. For example ABTCO 3/4 inch Outside Corner Foam Insert (PC).
Damn y’all experts coming out of the woodwork talking shit. He did it fine and showed others how to do it. You know how many people I’ve seen just keep both corners square and say fuck it. And pass it off looking like shit

@@delidavethebuilder280 why does that come into the equation. Tyvek is used everywhere so your building doesn’t rot out in 5 years. You should make this perfectly clear to everyone watching that you were too cheap to tyvek the walls on your building

You only need to 45 the top piece of J , then cut an inch tab out of the side then it will slide right up into the 45 😂
Ok thanks man

Are you seriously putting siding on with no moisture barrier. That plywood will be rotted.
