I've been trying my hand at animation for a few months now, and I've been trying to wrap my head around animating FX (specifically water at the moment) and lo and behold, I find your channel. This video makes you feel small compared to the universe, in a pleasant way. Like a child tucked away in a nest of blankets, or a seashell polished by the waves. As if our smallness allows us to see the magnitude, the sheer depth, of the world. It shows all of these special moments experienced by children-- children who seek the world with a childlike wonder. And we're left with the knowledge that eventually, these children grow to become a little bit like us. Kind of a melancholic and bittersweet nostalgia. It's a deep and ponderous envelopment, and a small quick rush.

It's been so long that i forgot this came out during quarantine.
Hobbes, please dont ever stop making these. They are perfection, so many new anime titles get added to my must watch and dope tunes to just chill or be productive to. It just works so well. Keeping me sane in these crazy times while everyone gets to stay home and I have to carry on working like a fool.
They're also great for animators, we can use this as reference or to study it

One thing I've been addicted to doing is always spoting how well animated water is in anime

その感覚を各アニメーターが監督、演出担当と共有して(手描きで！)微調整できるっていう所がもうね。

I've been trying my hand at animation for a few months now, and I've been trying to wrap my head around animating FX (specifically water at the moment) and lo and behold, I find your channel. OMG so good for reference!! you've got EVERYTHING here lol thank you! Tutorials are great, but they tend to overexplain everything. just needed to watch things in action and this is all perfect for that.
