Randomly clicked on this due to the machine body name, thought it was some cyberpunk movie. Lol. But damn, the drumming reeled me in, then the bass got me hooked, the guitar riffs and solo was the tasty cherry on top. Solo at the end was immaculate. And the machine/talking lyrics just make it have some kind of post modernist cyberpunkish unexplainable vibe that just completes the package. I'm hooked already, great song, great band!
It's possible, but not sure if it's some subgenre of funk that I don't know about. Anyone know what the bands genre is in general, or if they even have a general style? Maybe some reggae/hip hop/funk/rock blend? The guitar solo in this song sounds somewhat like rock style. But they also have like auto tuned machine voice, along with just talking style singing, I'm also curious what style that is from, or whether it's just the theme of this one song(machine body) and all their other stuff is different.thr Martin Luther King speech also makes it like hip hop style style to me, along with the rest of the lyrics which is mainly positive and stuff like "cool down your temper mr officer".. Definitely hip hop vibes.
I don't see snoop anywhere in this video, lol. Doggystyle also happens to be one of my favourite hip hop/rap albums of all time. 100% certified timeless classic.

昔むかし、30年以上前かな。洋楽を漁るように聴いていた頃を思い出してます。あの頃の唄に込められたメッセージは言語や文化、時代が異なる私にとって到底理解しきれなかったけど、それでも少しでも近づきたくて知る機会があれば触れていた。このEnglish subtitlesを観て聴いてくれる海外の人たちの感覚と当時の私が勝手ながら今融合されている気分。素敵なシンクロ。
