The Braves are back in the win column and Reynaldo Lopez pitched a gem tonight, the BP however made this a much more interesting game than I wanted to see however but they held on for the win, the Mets are showing that they have no quit in them as well, so dealing with them may not be the cake walk that it's been the last couple of years, so let's go back at 'em tomorrow. GO BRAVES!!!!!!!!
Interesting endings to the first 2 games of this series...rare sight to see Matzek give up a home run, but can't give a hitter like Alonso a meatball, that's asking for trouble.
Well got a little scary there at the end but the braves hold on for the win to even the series up. Outstanding performance from Lopez, 6 scoreless innings, continues to impress. Bullpen was a bit rocky once again, glad they were able to hold on but let’s try to clean it up there. Acuña, Ozzie, and Riley had great games at the plate. I would think Winans or Elder will pitch tomorrows game in replacement of strider so hope they can keep the momentum going into that game. Let’s go braves #ForTheA
Owner Steve Cohen mentioned the 2023 METS team giving their opponents 4 Outs per inning, its looks the 2024 METS will be giving out 5 Outs this season.

Even as a Braves fan though, I do feel bad for Lindor's start to the season. Completely out of the norm for him. I'm honestly surprised Diaz hasn't been available. I've missed that since the World Championship Series after that ACL tear. Been looking for him to get back.
