Wonderful song written so long ago by Rodney Crowell. I remember swaying back and forth on the dance floor to this song with a beautiful young woman I had just met. Here we are still together and happily married over 40 years later still enjoying Bob Segers music, thank you Bob and the Silver Bullet Band for all the years of great music.
I think I've run out of things to say just how Brilliant Bob Seger is. Even though this is not one of his own songs, he makes it sound as if it is, and that is amazing. Just pure class all round as usual.......
@@dime_life4768 ....Yes Indeed....R.I.P. Alto Reed.......One of the best Sax intro's ever on " Turn The Page " and superb on many other tracks as well......
I saw this concert in Raleigh NC with my girlfriend and my baby boy(He was 20). Absolutely without a doubt the best concert I’ve ever seen. I swear I cried through half the songs because of all the memories they brought back. I still can’t listen to this song without getting emotional.
My wife and I saw him here in The Woodlands TX recently despite a 90 minute delay due to inclement weather he and his band put on a fantastic show, enjoy your retirement Mr. Seger you are truly a legend and will be missed.
I was about 13 back then, and I remember listening to this over and over again through my dad's big ol' heavy headphones. I was transfixed by that piano solo. Great memory from when I was young and innocent.
Me too as a teen late nights working on my bike in my shed with a few mates on the JDs getting ready for our next adventure carefree no comittments stairing down the barrel of the 60s now please take me back
Chega a me emocionar! Um abraço a todos!!
Never does and never will get old, Bob your 8 track of night moves got worn out. Twice and got listen to in the back seat of my 51 Chevy fastback deluxe every weekend for 3 years. I promise
One damn fine handsome man who has gone the distance with his songs and voice. Anyone remember Smokin' O.P's on 8 track back in '72? He nailed Leon Russell's Hummin' Bird.
I just have loved this man here since I was a little tiny girl. I remember singing to his albums, standing on my bed singing into a fake microphone. It was my dream to be one of his back up singers. Lord, what a perfect blessing.
My wife and I were ecstatic when we heard the first few notes ! We weren’t at all expecting him to play our song! They must of gotten a new sound guy cause it was way off in Chicago! sounds great!
This was our favourite song as well. It was our wedding song way back in 1987. My daughter and I seen him in Toronto for his final tour. I was extremely emotional when he played this song.it was like my husband was with us. I wish he was alive to see him with us but we know he was there.
Thanks for posting...one of my favorite songs the chorus is mesmerizing brings me back to be 8 years old in 83....listened to song on spotify twice today earlier
Unfortunately I never had the chance to see him in Concert ☹️ !! I love his dimples as much as I do his music 🥰 ! Still rocking & sounds just as great as ever 💕❤️💕🙏
Bob Segar, please consider coming to our wedding on All Hallows Eve! We are getting married! My fiance and I dated over 30 years ago! Blessed Be and Blessed are we!
