Hey guys, welcome back to another week before the shred. Before leaving the Uk to head out to Cape Verde for the GKA World Cup for both kitesurfing and wing foiling. I took out my ‪@Fliteboard‬ #ULTRA L back at home on the Isle of Wight got put the new folding prop to the test on a small beach break. I snagged around 30+ unpowered waves with the nano battery and had a lot of fun. Its amazing how much the folding prop really does reduce the friction in riding waves...

What shim are you using? Nice video!

I think I am using 0 shim on this but sometimes it can help to use a + shim for the unpowered waves… it can counter the drag when you let go of the trigger!

@@tomcourtkite I am using a Pro board, 1100 flow, 245 rear with a #3 shim, true glide prop and explorer battery. I get very little if any glide with zero shim. I am guessing your nano battery is making this possible. Did you find the zero shim works better when you switched to the nano? I like how my board rides with a zero shim and would like to surf with a zero shim. Any suggestions?
