I've got friends on Congleton, been visiting often for a couple of decades, always been very fond of the place... and it looks like I'm moving there next month! Just had an offer accepted on new digs. Really looking forward to it and becoming a Congletonian. Is that a word? It should be! ;o)
@@mattlawton4715 Well, if you're looking for tons of excitement then I guess it ain't all that happening. But let's just say that I've been living in Crewe for the past few years... Congleton's the bloody Garden of Eden in comparison! 😆
Great video, been to Congleton a few times in the last few years and it seems to be the place to invest your money on the high street, it is definitely on the up. Big few years ahead for the town.
@@AK-ck1rk Absolutely yes. I would suggest having a look around. Everyone is so friendly and there is a real community atmosphere and always seems to be plenty of events going on. Also have a great main park for kids and an outdoor pool your kids would enjoy. Plenty of walks around the area and also Astbury mere on your doorstep. Also great for nice cosy pubs dotted around the area and the town has some great bars too. We are looking to move to the area hopefully in the next year or 2. Currently we live in Wilmslow which is great but since we discovered Congleton it has such a nice atmosphere to the place and everywhere is well looked after. (We have done plenty of exploring to get to know the town and speaking to residents who have moved to the area)
@@rp5371 many thanks for your timely response, much appreciated. I'm looking to buy a property there but some of the things about Congleton and Somerford aren't really inviting unfortunately... so your input is really appreciated.
@@Richy91 it seems to be a big concern for some current residents and it's probably something to watch. There's also not many information about... so any suggestions or insight into your experience of somerford will be appreciated. Thank you.

Do you think it's a good area to raise a family?

@@AK-ck1rk I bought a house in Somerford recently
What are your concerns? I presume the amount of house building going on?

I totally disagree with that lady, just how bad are those properties.........
I'm sorry, I like Congleton as well but this video is terrible.
Sorry that my video is terrible but it was just a walk on that day......Stay safe
