With the reveal of the new Shinjutsu name, such techniques have become very hyped up among the fanbase. Anything construed as a technique formed by the Otsutsuki Clan is questioned as a Shinjutsu, and among these are the obvious, the Dojutsu. The various Dojutsu possess abilities that seem to cross borders from Jutsu into miraculous techniques, which seems to be the basis of Shinjutsu’s definition. Techniques that seem almost like miracles. The most obvious of these being the Rinnegan, a technique named after reincarnation. But among the Rinnegan’s abilities are the likes of resurrection, gravity control, and soul manipulation. But this doesn’t stop there, as the Tenseigan, a technique only possible to be awakened by an Otsutsuki, manages to awaken gravity controls on a grand scale, as well as truth-seeking orbs, something that possesses all natures and is considered something that only Hagoromo, or those who had learned to add Sage Energy to Six Paths Chakra, could awaken. But it continues to move back as the Mangekyo Sharingan and it’s Eternal variant, use such techniques. The eternal flames of Amaterasu. The supposedly unbreakable genjutsu Tsukuyomi. The teleportation technique, Kamui, and even the massive Chakra Avatar, Susanoo. Each of these techniques seem miraculous, but to drive the point home, just about all techniques, in fact, I can’t think of a single one that isn’t, are named after shinto gods. Amaterasu is the sun goddess, Susanoo is the god of storms, Tsukuyomi, god of the moon, and even Kamui, which literally means “Authority of the gods”. Susanoo even has the potential to increase in ability and strength depending upon how it is used. I am not only speaking of it reaching perfection. I am talking weapons. Sasuke’s gained Indra’s Arrow after getting Six Paths Chakra, and Itachi’s Susanoo possessed the three imperial regalia, the Yata Mirror, the ethereal sword of Kusunagi, and the Magatama. These things are fused into his Susanoo, and not only do things, such as the Yata Mirror, give hints to Otsutsuki Origin. In fact, given that Itachi possessed all three of the Imperial Regalia, he actually qualifies to become the Emperor of Japan. I’m not just saying that because Itachi is my second favorite character. We further move down to the Sharingan. The Sharingan itself doesn’t seem to be overly miraculous at first glance, but the ability Izanagi and Izanami both are techniques that can completely alter fate and reality, one by refusing fate, and the other by forcing one to accept it. Both of these techniques are considered some of the most powerful techniques of the Sharingan. So, with this massive monologue out of the way, I will pose a most simple question. What if Naruto was born with the Sharingan? Yes, I know what you’re asking. Why did I have to go so long earlier? Simple answer is… I just like talking about dojutsu. Ha ha. But in reality, the point is, Shinjutsu are fire right now, and I want to dip my toes into this a bit by seeing what Naruto could do if he were born with the Sharingan. So pull up a chair… if you haven’t already, and you likely have, else your feet are hurting, and enjoy a new what-if centering around our boy Naruto having one of those three great dojutsu, namely, that one dojutsu that takes up the title as “One of the three great dojutsu” twice.

I think Naruto would still be able to befriend Kurama even with his sharigan. Due to his personality I don’t think the beast’s cannon hatred(added on with its hatred of the sharigan) could stop Naruto from eventually befriending him. Showing him that the sharigan doesn’t define a person, it’s how they use it.

That means sasuke is an easier target, because he isn’t driven by hatred instead of Naruto’s dream to just be hokage.

I don’t think that would really work, Senju + Uchiha = OP but only Indra’s flesh and Ashura’s chakra will create a rinnegan, Naruto is Ashura’s reincarnation but for him to get the rinnegan, either he needs sasuke’s eyes (cause he’s Indra 3.0) or if somehow obito puts madara’s rinnegan in naruto….. yeah now that’s six paths chakra cloak for naruto

I believe that Naruto’s additude towards Kurama would be more him feeling bad for the tailed beast rather than scared of it. Due to Kurama’s blinded hatred towards the sharigan. Also would naruto’s hashirama arm allow him to use his ms without going blind/drawbacks? Essentially giving him an ems without needing another pair of sharigan.

No it wouldn't become a Rinnengan because Naruto would first need to reach the EMS then it would evolve into the Rinnengan

Hagoromo never had EMS, his Sharingan evolved straight to the Rinnegan immediately after his Mangekyo awakened
@@helixsol7171 OK that was only in the anime plus the sage had the pure version of the Sharingan so he could evolve it to the Rinnegan without anything problems but the problem is his blood gets diluted with the more children he had to the point that they have to cross breed with the Uzumaki or Senju clan

I think Kurama actually developed a genjutsu resistance kinda like Sakura's after Kurama got put in genjutsu by Madara and Obito cause he was angry they can control him so easily also you could have made up MS abilities for Naruto
This is still only half the nine Tails though, and that is headcanon (with Sasuke also messing with the nine tails at the start of shippuden with three tomoe, pointing against your theory).
And besides, any such head Canon resistance still wouldn't be enough against Madara, who is stronger than the nine tails.

Personally, the first battle between Sasuke and Naruto was very close in the original series, and now that Naruto had a fully matured sharingan, I think Naruto would have won. Sasuke does have “killing intent”, but Naruto has the skills to beat just that in this what if.

You have to remember that after Kurama is extracted from Naruto he now has way less chackra then before and just lost a "automatic natural energy gathering tool"(cool nickname for Kurama) so he cant endure long battles like in the original.
And without befriending Kurama and all of the tailed beasts he wouldnt have their help (and chackra and kekkei genkai) against Kaguya, against Sasuke (i find it odd that you didnt mention their final clash),
and against Ishiki (Our duo with a Rinnegan would be great, but idk if it'd be enough tho).
So maybe, just maybe he could lose one of those battles and we would have a bad ending to the series :v
And theres the wild card that is Naruto's mangekyo abilities, are they strong as Kamui? do they have heavy drawbacks? but thats just 100% especulation so we could argue about that endlessly ;b

There would be two scenarios, with what if he was born with it, or if he gained it later..
Born with it.. Naruto is pretty weak with genjutsu, and Sharingan not just gives u that ability, but gives u another more powerful branch. So him not being able to control Kurama early, would still implement more options. Besides that being still a feature, only performed by Madara, Uchiha Genius, and Obito strengthed by Hashirama cells.
And rather or not he could control Kurama with the Sharingan, after meeting KillerBee, he would at least see a new way. And prolly become friends..
If he wasn't born with it, so based on canon, one idea would be if Shisui actually was a fan of the fourth, and later befriending Naruto because of it. And later giving his last sharingan to Naruto with the trick to hide, until he is old enough. Not only would that be funny, cause Naruto, who cant cast Genjutsu, gets the most OP Genjutsu, besides Izanagi, he would also be able to cast it easy, cause the time delay gets shortend with Hashirama Cells, and Naruto also being the reincarnation of ashura, should have a lot of problems doing the same..

If boruto and himawari also gets sharingan and their respective dojutsu from their mother then it would be interesting to watch boruto using jougan in one eye and sharingan in other and himawari switching between sharingan and byakugan she could be alot more powerful than any individual of their dojutsu clan if she gets proper training
I still think, even in the original series, that it would have been more interesting if the sage of 6 paths gave Sasuke and Naruto the reverse powers. Give Naruto a rinnegan and Sasuke gets truth seeking/6 paths sage mode. Given Naruto already beat a pure rinnegan expert just with early sage mode training (vs.pain), technically the final battle between naruto/sasuke doesn't matter because Naruto genuinely only got stronger with 6paths and he already almost single handedly beat a pure rinnegan user before sasuke. but Sasuke simply caught up to KCM/frog sage mode by getting rinnegan, and thats very debatable because Sasukes number 1 weakness is his low Chakra reserves. Naruto was able to spend years training and becoming a top ninja just by having more Chakra than everyone else as a Uzumaki.
So imo, before hamaromo took back his 6 paths Chakra (we see it in a few frames when the sun and moon reappear on his hands, so Naruto doesn't have God like healing powers anymore nor truth seeking orbs, but who knows, it's so debatable because of his eyes and cloak in boruto, i just wish then powers were consistent in boruto).
In addition to getting rinnegan eyes, I've always wondered if Naruto was able to accelerate far past anyone else in the ninja village because of his shadow clone training. He would have gained knowledge exponentially over years of using the technique. It's why even in his base form, he was able to handle so much Chakra seemingly immediately once Kurama allowed him to merge KCM and frog sage mode.
He has been learning about Chakra control through the rasengan and nature control for years to get more and more efficient at it, so he can control his own immense Chakra, kuramas, sage mode, and 6 paths and merge with Sasukes or minatos Chakra perfectly during the final war. Plus, when Naruto used clones and himself to pass his KCM Chakra to all ninjas in the war and merge with all ninja Chakras, he gained further knowledge how to balance his own crazy mixture of Chakra with hundreds of ninjas at the same time, near instantaneously. No other ninja on that battlefield, except for maybe Minato, could share and control their Chakra with so many ninjas at once and we know that because nobody else tried. Not even octopops who has perfect trailed beast mode was capable of half of what Naruto was with half of Kurama. Crazy.
