Hey, thanks for the Video. How do you find the Aeroscreen 12 months on? Does it deflect much at speed? I've heard the GRP suffers a bit with flexing caused by air pressure as speed.

Hi Daniel, Unfortunately, i sold my Caterham Roadsport in August 2016. I now have a Caterham Supersport which i race. Take a look at some of my other videos :-) However, i can tell you that an aero screen reduces the amount of bufferting significantly. It did wobble a small amount at 100mph on track. However, it still provided some deflection of the wind up and over the occupants.

I wonder if the genuine caterham one flexes less. Ive seen a few vids of the kitcardirect one properly deforming at speed, especially when warm. Which isn't a great look :)

I've only seen a few of the genuine Caterham ones. I do think they put more layers into their carbon weave.. hence the additional price. I'll also say the overall finish of the official ones is great. As mine was a Track Car and a bit of fun at the time, i wasn't so bothered. I've always been one for making sure the mechanical side of things are perfect, and the aesthetics come second. I agree though deforming at speed isn't really ideal. Especially if it were to split / fracture.

yeah, i'm just looking at GRP, not carbon, but many videos of cheaper ones deforming at around 90-100mph on track.

Nice work, did you get one from the same place as me or did you get it from Caterham / elsewhere? Look forward to hearing your impressions.

I went kitcardirect too, mostly because I was under time pressure for a trip to croft this month! Just waiting on my mirrors arriving so I can go out and test. How did you find the screen for gaps between it and scuttle? I find there are a few gaps underneath

What's is like for wind blast ?

Hi Mark, it was much better at deflecting wind over the occupants. I’ve since tried the Caterham clear racing screens which also do a great job.
