Thanks for the talk. My wife and I currently live in Italy and have been doing escape rooms over the last two years (currently at 119 rooms). Our first exposure was in Budapest and we immediately fell in love! We’ve done rooms in Chicago, Philly, DC and NYC and none come even close to those we’ve done through the 30+ countries in Europe. Ou personal favorite is Lockhill Manor in Athen, Greece.
Thank you for such a great report on the market of escape rooms in the world. Although it's been 2 years since your video, the market still has a lot to grow, as we also build escape rooms around the world turnkey, and I can safely say that the demand for this type of entertainment does not fall and this business is promising, as people all the time looking for something new - new escape rooms, stories, etc.
I really appreciate your comment about 5 Wits focusing on a good experience for the players, rather than a "battle of wits" between the players and the game designer. I've seen a similar pattern in gimmick car rallyes. A lot of new rallyemasters focus on "stumping the experts" or on showing off every novel gimmick concept they can think of. In contrast, more experienced rallyemasters often focus on creating a good experience for rallyists.

I had no idea that escape rooms were so established outside of the US. Hoping to see more here soon. Thank you for sharing!
