Thousand Islands Cruise via Uncle Sam Boat Tours (4K)

- We enjoyed our Thousand Islands cruise with Uncle Sam Boat Tours in July 2018. We boarded the Island Duchess at the Lower James Street Dock in Alexandria Bay, New York, for a one hour tour of the 1000 islands. It was pretty interesting seeing some very expensive homes on small islands, even some tiny houses on the smallest isles as well. We first saw Casa Blanca on Cherry Island, then passed by the Thousand Islands Bridge. We then saw Nobby Island, then St Elmo Island, Florence Island, the tiny Hub Island, and then the highlight was seeing the exterior of the Boldt Castle. Due to time constraints of our land tour, we did not get to see the inside, but we look forward to visiting next time we're there! We also passed by Ina Island & Deer Island.
It was summer and as you can see there were many people enjoying water sports such as jet skiing in the St Lawrence River.
We also saw some other tour operators' ships sail by including those by Gananoque Boat Line (from Canada) and Rockport Boat Line.

I love this content very much. Spotless camera work indeed! Good editing. Nice production. In fact, I had also visited this place during my trip to Niagara. That was in 2017 and I have a slideshow of it posted at TH-cam under this tag. I had availed the same Tour company to go around the river. Though it was a cloudy day, I could take pictures in a good sense. Very memorable cruise indeed. To think of mansions built in the St Laurence River! I feel that the like of this could be seen only at Key West.

Just seen the name of the ship you went on last year I had to put my dog duchess so we went to the vet that day I had to get my mind off my dog because I had her for sixteen years the reason I had to put her down she had cancer so after I got done I said let's go on a boat tour so we did the two-hour two Nation tour when we got on the ship I realize the ship's name was the island duchess I thought that was kind of weird because that was my dog's name so I guess I was meant to go on that ship that day I miss my dog duchess everyday I've always been a big fan of the thousand Islands I am so glad I only live 35 miles away from Alexandria Bay hope everybody comes back this summer and visits the thousand Islands
Sorry to hear about your dog Duchess! But sounds to me she had a great life. I second your recommendation- Thousand Islands is a beautiful place to visit during the summer.

I can tell you a weird story about the first time I went on that ship I had to put my dog down that day so I wanted to keep my mind occupied I noticed the ship's name was Island duchess that wants my dog's name was duchess

Thank you so much! 🙏 It is a short stop like 10 minutes so if you are visiting Boldt Castle you will take another boat coming later.
I'm planning to visit the isles during fall. Do you know of any fall special scenic tours of the 1000 islands?
They will probably have the same tours, but the fall foliage will certainly be quite spectacular.

Don't know- tried to make out what it says on the wooden board which seemed to say Fwig Fishhnd???
