I enjoyed the interaction over the Mei wall. Your Reinhardt realized it wasn't worth getting upset over and let it go. He was a good sport over it, especially considering how frustrating it can be sometimes.

You know, I get that I’m kinda 3 months late here, but that guy at the end was clearly lonely & struggling with some things and just wanted to get drunk after work (which I can relate to) and play some games and hopefully find someone he can talk to to help himself feel better. Good on you Grotech. More interactions like that in OW would make comp less scary for those of us that try to stray from unnecessary conflict.
Stiiizy is the MVP, man that makes me tear up watching such a happy interaction in a generally toxic-filled landscape.
The interaction with the drunk dude is everything that I ever wanted, absolutely great especially with a game like ow where you're greeted by... some questionable and toxic people. This was like a breath of fresh air ;w; I hope that one day you guys stumble across eachother again and if not hope he comes to see this video. 11/10 I would have loved to hear that sort of positive vibe during comp
That last game is proof that sometimes it's okay to have some fun in comp when losing, people act like they'll literally die irl if they don't win sometimes 😅

I am 100% sure that you would've won King's Row without that Widowmaker. Genuinely, the fact you pushed that far, and defended that long, with a DPS that's constantly dead is crazy.
Im pretty sure they didnt switch because they were non stop screamed at by immature hardstuck freaks. Its really weird that he defended this kinda behaviour because they would've definetly won if they hadnt made their other dps feel like shit constantly. I don't switch either if my team is a bunch of pos screaming at me from the beginning.

A lot of people are playing comp specifically to win and if you're actively ruining their game so you can "have fun" you are the issue. he was probably on a widow only account, people make account to learn new heros and if he swapped to a hero he's better with at worse it would be the equivalent to smurfing and if not it would at the very least defeat the purpose of the account
like i am an ana main and i have a separate account where i play characters im terrible at like lucio, if i swap to ana in a gold game on that account its basically smurfing because im a diamond ana

@@BONERCRUSHER because thats how u get better, playing quick play against ppl who aren't taking the game seriously or against people who are not similar to ur skill level, or people who are not near ur skill level wont help u improve. ik quickplay has a bad reputation of being taken seriously by a lot of people but even if ur going against sweats they still dont fundamentally play the way ranked players play, they sweat in quickplay cuz they suck too much to play ranked

I struggle to understand competitive in Overwatch. I just play for fun but my friends wanted me to play comp with them so i tried a match by myself. I got absolutely destroyed by my team for playing Junkrat and everyone said i was throwing even though i had more kills, damage, and less deaths. We did end up losing but i still got play and then they tried reporting me for throwing. Just let a man play for fun lol (our rein was the only one not being toxic)
Also congrats for reaching 2k!! You deserve it and more man, I'm not sure how long i've been here but definitely before you reached 1k, i'm so proud of you!!

I have really high anxiety so if somebody is rude to me I tend to get too anxious to play well 😅 though to be fair I also just avoid comp for that reason..
but I recently had a qp game on Havana that was going relatively well but we lost on 3rd point, and at the very end the DPS duo just decided to blame me and act rude so I just said gg go next…
But then they were on my team again the next game and flaming me saying a I was a terrible tank so I just left because I knew I would be too anxious and tense to play well knowing my teammates have no faith in me anyways and won’t back me up 🤷 it’s just qp anyways but still, it feels very unproductive to sit in a game with people who are toxic, flaming you, or hateful towards you, especially if you’re someone who has a hard time playing well when that happens >_
Avoid is your best option tbh, but if you cant handle when ppl are dumb in coms (I'm also like that) dont have auto join voicechat enabled and only join when you're feeling up to it
Also I kinda hate the "it's just qp" mentality that became so popular in ow2. Makes the losing team become a rotating door, it's so annoying...
In fairness to that Doom, when you were playing Sombra... You were making some equally dumh decisions and then joining the flame on him when you were also kinda doing dumb stuff too lol.

My only question when it came to the game with the Widowmaker and you guys were asking the entire time for them to switch were they even in voice chat? Is it possible that for the entire game you were asking them they never heard you? Because just being honest, when I first started playing competitive I would forget to join the voice chat until almost the very end of the game. I’ve gotten into a habit now of joining voice chat so I can hear my teams communication, but sometimes typing it in the chat as well works and there is an option to turn voice into text.

I'm not so good with widow or hanzo, probably because I have a small tv and aiming struggles, but I have to practice to improve. People are always so toxic over it. I change if I get too many kills on me.

As someone who isn't good at doom, but better than the doom you played with, doom doesn't fight enemy tank most of the time. Normally you ignore them and get a squishy or two and then when you have the advantage you pressure the rest of the team with your team
i have no clue why people find it so hard to grasp the idea of 'if you get diffed 3 times, then swap' its the easiest thing you can do to help your team win, and yet some people find it so hard to do it because they want to believe they are a god 1 trick on a character they have died over 20 times as in a single game :/

Anyway wow, tanks are consistently the most toxic role.
Because playing tank is God awful lol I play dps/support decided to try some tank. Talk about OW not being fun when your teammates play passive asf
All roles suck to play if one role isnt pulling their weight. Its a domino effect. If support sucks tsnks gonna suck and will in turn limit the dps angles so they suck too. Its a depressing rock paper scissors game you play your own team against each round. You cant solo carry a game unless of course you clearly skill gap the enemy team so much its ridiculous.
@@nogunk147 nah gotta agree with the first comment here, tank is godawful to play with randos. In dps you can compensate for your role partner (like grotech does in the widow game) if the dps dif is not that big between you and the enemy, support it's a little trickier but you can also make up for the other support bad job, but tank it's all on your team. If you make space and they don't push with you, the enemy team will not be afraid to take that space back and walk all over you. Also it's a role that most people can't hit tab and see if you're doing a good job or not, which leads to tanks not knowing when they're doing something wrongs and flaming teammates
I am a proud widow main and this is just frustrating to watch. Yeah, it’s an ego thing and to get diffed that hard is the ultimate buzz kill (especially if you’ve had other good games that sesh). If you have no response then swap bro it’s not rocket science. I’m sorry you got one of the bad ones

Drunk guy definetly deserved it as he admitted himself. You dont have to be toxic but it is majorly his fault so, just like cheating, ruining the game for others isnt cool and they had a right to be upset. Whether you get both sides or not. That being said atleast he was nice and honest. Its one to try and get over if you are the Rein. Speaking realistically, comp is to be competetive.
