happens often sadly :/ people argue but they never think. mercy on a team with ashe should be selfexplanatory but somehow when I see people playing I assume barely 5% knows about what specific heroes' should do. But one thing I want to say. I'm also a plat now. I used to be scrimming with gms but I didn't even do competitive much so I get told I'm just a plat and yes, I barely play enough to have decent aim but it's weird no1 listens and thinks if I'm saying something legit or not. it's instant "oh you're just plat" while I'm explaining my diamond main tank and reaper how to position in against their team. but I don't mind rank either. I do however enjoy games that aren't braindead. So if I say rein has ult. I don't see everyone walking up to the front and stacking.

Why do people think that just because supports can heal that that is their only job? Its not. Mercy should damage boost ana should anti/sleep. We have things in our kits that make us more then healers. Thats why were "supports" not "healers"

@Grotech Gaming To bad you didn't respect the 1V1 at the end. Ana was at a huge disadvantage and still stayed in with unusable ult
5:50-5:55 I was on team with players like that. I let them know immediately either I let you all die or I focus on killing pharah myself. I've had way too many terrible teammates (mainly dps) who avoid targeting pharah as if she's not an issue. "Kill the enemy that is focusing your support so your support can heal," why is that so difficult to understand for them?
And being matched with a group is terrible sometimes. They'll just agree and defend each other even when their group member is wrong.

ana can do alot of damage to a pharah if for one she isnt pocketed by a support or two your able to hit all your shots , idc if ana could two tap every hero in the game she is a SUPPORT HERO , meaning that she SUPPORTS YOU ! her kit is not even close to being as useful as a dps and is specifically made for her to be a ranged backliner most of the time . 8 years into the game and people still want support players to do everything else instead of what their role requires lmao .

I agree the pharah needs to be dealt with. Ana should target Mercy while Ashe pressures the Pharah, easy enough pick. Hog hooks ball to stop him diving Ana Ashe, get two picks and win the fight.
I respect your opinion but neither dps played hitscan we had no options besides "Ana shoot", and hog in general tends to be a throw pick without a kiriko

this game is so fucking horrible playing support, you heal and you get doved and you try your hardest but people just look to complain and not use their brain to help you out when ur getting doved, and then they say "heals?" "can i get heals?" IDK MAYBE THE WISTON IS DIVING ME AND I HAVE A HANZO SHOOTING AT ME WITH A OFF HEALER AS MY 2ND SUPPORT WITH 2 BRAINDEAD DPS AND ONE FEEDING TANK, im so glad im taking a break from this game, playing support is basically just pain..

Honestly, its not that bad. At least from my experience you’d have better chances getting someone to talk than encounter any kind of toxicity. If someone starts hyper typing in the text box its so easy to just turn off the text chat

sorry but you were in the wrong about the ana thing. good ana can most def handle a pharah. shoot mercy first if she has a pocket its so simple. you giving your reasoning as to why you think you cant do it and then proceeding to miss literally all your shots on her didnt really help your argument

It's so situational though. If your co-support is struggling to keep the team alive, you don't get time to pressure one of the hardest pockets in the game. That's sleep/anti potential you're missing out on for targets directly pushing your space. No space, no room to pressure to begin with. Plus, I also argue that if your team KNOWS the pharah pocket is a problem but instead of pressuring/countering with better DPS, you're part of the problem.
Can Ana help with a few shots for pressure? Sure. But if you're banking on a support going full DPS mode and focus 2/5 of the enemy team alone to make up for the lack of DPS priority, that's not the right call.

I feel for you man, I’ve got flamed by a solider and a Pharah. The solider said “I’m garbage” and said inappropriate insults about me in front of my team. The Pharah player switched to Tracer only to taunt me when I was Tracer stating “You ain’t got no power”. I was like what have you’ve been smoking. It seems he insulted a friendly Echo player during a random casual match when she stated “Ah the same Pharah player who flamed me for the lack of damage”. This was in a random Friendly No Kill lobby.
I stand with you for the Mercy clip, it wasn’t your fault you were doing the best you could Ram was always feeding and you needed to heal the toxic Ashe.

Tf none of what they say made any sense, Ana is a hit scan but if she was made to deal good damage she’d be a dps? And as a support you can’t afford taking any attention off of your health guzzling teammates or they will die near instantly and still blame you

I tried playing overwatch. Got placed in platinum even though I was still new to the game. I thought I could start at bronze and work my way up. Ppl are too mean in this game it’s wild

bro was completely within his right to, tho- ana was on ram while he (mercy) was on ashe
like yeah, he _could’ve_ healed, if he took bad positioning and left ashe to die to tracer, but that’s just not a good play. he’s basically setting himself, his ram, _and_ his ashe up to die. as a support main, sometimes we have to rely on our other healer to keep someone else up- that’s part of being a team.
