FYI, Ben Affleck has already played a version of Superman. In 2006 he played in Hollywood land. Which was about George Reeves. The actor who played Superman on TV in the 1950s.
Awesome casting! Cranston and Depp were both ones I never thought of but after seeing them realized they're perfect!

I also feel Hugh Jackman would’ve been the optimal pick to play Batman. Christian Bale did an amazing job. But, Jackman would’ve been for Batman what Christopher Reeves was for Superman and Patrick Stewart is for Prof. X-a pitch perfect casting choice. As for the optimal choice to have played Wolverine, I’d have gone with Mark Wahlberg. If you touched up his hair and gave him a cig, he’d look straight off the comic’s page.
I really don't see Marky Mark as having the right personality for Wolverine. But nice try.
@@andreg4681 - well, Wahlberg is short and can be physically imposing. Also, playing surly and standoffish characters is sort of his wheelhouse. The only way his onscreen ethos could possibly be more Wolverine is if he were Canadian. Would bet the only reason this didn’t happen was, because when the first X-Men movie was being cast, Wahlberg would’ve cost too much for the first movie’s budget. That could be why they initially went with Dougray Scott and then pivoted to Hugh Jackman. At the time, no one knew who either of them were.
