    Thanks for doing this! I was thinking about doing the same thing. I was hoping for more but i expected it to just be a connection board. Thank you for confirming this!

    Following the unwritten rules of how to deal with machines, the last thing you do is open the manual. I hope that the new generations of makers and engineers take good note of these centuries-old practices.

    I’m looking at attempting a 4 z axis CoreXY Snapmaker mod but need a hub where I can reassign the ports. Could you do an M1029 and post response?

      This Hub is a passive device - just parallel connected 4-pin sockets for connecting accessories (air purifier, housing, emergency button).
      With the M1029 you can remap the Snapmaker 2.0 controller slots
      for X, Y, Z, B, E axes. Detailed description is here:

      Snapmaker 2.0 controller. has only one 4pin port (Addon 3) dedicated to connecting accessories. So if you want to connect a few peripherals, e.g. enclosure, emergency button, eir purifier, you need this CAN bus Hub.
