That's where I don't understand... green was aggressive and trying to block you constantly, while red was working with you and chipping at green. Guess that's why you should never trust an alliance.
@@evanmitchell1480nah red was untrusting since the very beginning. He also wanted green to sue into pete but green decided to hit red instead. There was no good choice to save between red and green
Surprised when you didn’t kill green first, not because red was particularly favourable to you, but because killing green would’ve setted you, red wasn’t holding a continent and his biggest stack was locked in a territory you wouldn’t have had to open to break a continent. Worked out in the end of course so didn’t actually matter, but I’d have killed green first just to make sure I got the best chance in the 1v1.
Interesting how the internal dialogue changed from wanting to kill green after the Australia steal to wanting to kill red. What caused this shift in focus?
@@DeadInside-ew8qb Ah I see it now. The answer to your question is I was allied with both. Both helped me win. Red worked with me on Green using the alliances, but Green overcommited on Red giving me the win. That's why I was favourable to green in the end. He was directly responsible for my win.
I started playing this game about a month ago and have already gotten to expert this season. Thank you for all the tips like learning who to kill and when to kill them. Really helped a bunch.
Unhappy at that ending, I think it was kinda sad seeing red go down after he followed up. I know he was trying to get green to go into Pete, but that's the essence of the game. Green didnt deserve second in my humble opinion, but well played gg :)
Hey Petemeown!! As a fan of tabletop Risk since single digit age I have always wondered how do your mobile strategies translate to the physical game if at all?
I find the consistent play, in the classic fixed 3 player endgame to be forcing one of your opponents to make a bad kill. In the context of this game, it would be knocking some 40 or 50 troops off of reds Kamchatka stack. Where Green kills Red, putting you in a slightly better 1v1. Should Green sit on his hands you can kill Red, taking second after already have gotten attackers advantage on reds main stack.
I have a classic fixed account at GM. The first thing I do after a season resets is play a single game, hopefully come in first or force a second and then never touch it again for ranked that season. The grind from 16k to 26k on fixed is just too rough/time consuming to risk that again.
@@TheKillPeteStrategy what do you think about the idea of only reseting players above 26000, and only down to 26000? The only players actually competing in terms of season, afterall, are GMs
Ranked Risk needs to be reworked drastically game has so much potential could be more fun and reach a larger player base than it has now. Match making, ranking system and communication/ally system needs improvement
When someone bots, it will say that they’re offline if you tap their name/icon. Plus, usually they do so after not playing during a turn and letting time run out.
Hey Pete been watching for along time thank you for this channel, never seem to catch a live stream but had a question I'm playing true random dice and just had a game where a 19v 29 rolled me and won. Do I have my settings wrong cause the math ain't mathing thank you
Hi, I just played the strangest game. 1 player in the lob was not attacked by the bots at all. The bot just took 1 of my terrotory's every turn, nothing more. Then when i just skipped every turn, the bot also skipped. This when the bot had 30 troops terrotory's next to 1 troops terrotory's from that other player. Still the bot does not attack him... Douglas Smoothbore was his game/player name. I think dis is hacking, never seen a bot act like this before. What do you think about this??
Bad play pete-man. Everyone had roughly equal troops both of them had locked stacks and both had 3 cards. You were wanting someone to work with red obliged definitely should have given him second
12:00 What a moment! Purple bringing the fireworks. You sir are welcome back again.
Love the depth of explanation in this piece Pete (9 mins in upon writing this)
I'm glad you liked it!
It was sad seeing u betray red while he helped u attack green😢
Hey man, someone had to get third there. I don't think I really favoured either one tbh

Do you have a time stamp for when this occured?

I think I would have given green 3rd, all that "attack red" from green and then not doing anything is a shit way to play...

why do red so bad. so sad that man worked with u against a bully and u killed him first
That's funny I didn't see either of them as particularly favourable

I have 2 questions, 1- How do you know who s hosting the game? 2- Is there a way to tell when someone bots and you don't have an aliance with them?
The host of the game is the player in the top left slot in the lobby
When someone bots, it will say that they’re offline if you tap their name/icon. Plus, usually they do so after not playing during a turn and letting time run out.

That's the point of true random. The dice rolls are completely random and more unpredictable. If you want more reliable rolls, play balanced blitz.
