Thanks for sharing this info. A lot of people would just throw the flight controller away and get a new one shipped, but videos like this are a real help to anyone who wants to gain knowledge, save money, and save the earth.

I had to go back and re-watch this. I wanted to ask what hot air station you used, but there it was in the video... I added one to my shopping list. I now have 2 HM superbee F4 lite board with ESC3 behaving badly. nothing visibly burned, and the motor does spin, but hiccups a lot and doesnt fly. swapping motors, the fault stays in the same motor position. IMO, one or more pins on the #3 fets has broken loose.
Also, I have a link to my Amazon store in the video description, were all the things I use are in one place to check out. I like the way they have pictures and descriptions too, pretty cool...🍻

Have you ever fix a x12 that the reciever antenna and positive touched? Right now my x12 reciever is dead
That would probably wipe out a few components. I have not worked on an X12.. Diagnostic of the failed components is the most time consuming part, I don't have the right tools for the job nor the funds.. Sorry to hear your X12 got shorted out..😟
I see you have a hot air station, microscope setup. Care to do a video review on that? Source for the solder and flux paste?
