Thank you for all your videos..they are very helpful. I pray that all remains well in your right eye. I loved your perspective on life and giving to others. More power to you! Stay well
@realtorroshan ohh I watched your videos for a very good friend who had a second retinal detachment within 2 months of her first vitrectomy surgery for retinal detachment. Now they need to get rid of the membrane that formed in the recovery period which led to the second detachment, and fix the macular hole with silicone oil. I myself have had 2 retinal tears (simultaneous) which were treated with lasers but the retina's inflammatory response led to a membrane forming on the macula. So I had a vitrectomy to remove the membrane. That was 2 years ago to the day, and for 2 years have been trying to get the inflammation down. Finally better news last week but can see 5/10 on that eye. Thank you for asking.. sorry about the long response!
@ appreciate you writing back. Glad it’s under control. If we did not go through one will never understand what’s it like. There isn’t a single day I am not scared of losing my right eye vision. Living in fear and holding back so many things I want to do. Health is everything. Tell your friend she will be alright. Stay patience and do not rush anything. Heal first. Pause for life until healing process is complete. It is a marathon and not a sprint. Please support her. Support system is everything we’ve got.
@@realtorroshan thank you for your kind message. Yes, only when you have gone through it, can you empathize so deeply. Share your fears about the good eye. My friend and I talk about that fear all the time. My sister lost one eye to diabetic retinopathy/retinal detachment after a failed vitrectomy.. so support in all sorts of ways is the way to go. Thank you deeply..
Very useful video and much love from Estonia🇪🇪. My mom has retina detachment right now and we are currently waiting for new operation time because the eye surgeon said that the eye is too irritated and she has to wait for about 20 days for the new operation. She is really thankful to have somebody share their experience and it relieves the mental pain❤️
@@robinmeringo If you join the facebook group you will get a lot of help there. I have the links in the bio. Remember, there are thousands of people who have recovered from this with great eye sights. Do not panic. Your mom will be alright. But the sacrifices we make during recovery is very important. Do not rush anything. Take time to heal first. Lots of prayers your mom’s way. Love ❤️ back from Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦
@@realtorroshanright after we finished the video we joined all the groups from your bio. Sadly it will be her 6th operation already so we will do the best to keep her from any movements and let her recover. In Estonia almost no information is given about such situations (what to do and what not to) now after your video we finally know a lot more and I’m sure the Facebook groups will help furthermore. God bless you🙏
@ sorry to hear. I also did not get any information at Canadian hospital. I learned everything from the facebook group. Ask any questions or concerns you have there and someone will respond. People are there from all parts of the world. 🌎
Floaters are number one ☝️ symptoms because it causes holes 🕳️ and then you see debris floating . Specially when you look up clear sky you will see floaters. You will need laser done right away so that retina do not detach. If you see flashes of lights or black curtains then it is emergency
