Chris Wiseman is such an underrated guitarist. The fact he plays in 2 bands from different genres and KILLS it in both, blows me away.

@@rafaelflores6196 Shadow of Intent. Heavier band, but Ben Duerr’s vocals are amazing. The lyrics are poetic. And Bryce is a hell of a drummer.

As a newer fan of them, I won't stop either. I'm also proud to say that these guys are from my home state of Connecticut, so that is even cooler for me.

@@Revnoir29871 saw them in 2020 with invent animate and silent planet. Seeing them soon in pa. I know both Brian and also Marcus of invent animate have made huge improvements to their vocal techniques while touring. I know I for sure can't hold my sound or tone for half the time they can and they do it night after night. Gotta give em credit.
@DJ Rideaux saw them this year at Heart Support Fest and they sounded incredible. Every aspect.

@Corey I get it to a point, too. Like, not touring cause of covid, they probably want to make up for lost time. I fully respect it, but I just don't want it to be the reason we get a hiatus or something😭

The Way It Ends is one of my most favorite albums in recent years, so new music from Currents is always a good thing!
When that album came out I immediately put it on my GOAT list. Along with Like Moths To Flames album that same year.

"This song is a step outside the norm" yeah if you mean they wrote something a little more generic than they normally do. I think this is one of their best songs but it sounds like it was written with appeal in mind.

Currents are why I've been able to get into heavier metal, I love their sound, between them and Polaris, I've been able to find appreciation in screams and growls.

I'm addicted too bad to this shit I literally do not listen to any other song, knowing that Slipknot, Bleed for Within and Paleface have new music... But I can't escape of this. Other songs of their album are good, but this is incredible. This song picked everything I love from other bands and put it all in 4 minutes of perfection. On the top of all, guitar tabs are available, and it is 6 strings song, so I can enjoy covering it. Thanks Currents for keeping it real.

Currents went from “just another one” to me spending $50 in merch at shows without the bat of an eye that weren’t even their headliners. Their music has cut so deeply over the past few years for me. What a fucking song.
