    know that this is a really popular area and some of camps are often/usually occupied.

    Nice trip! I'm thinking of going over Labor Day weekend. Goat Lake + Old Snowy + TBD

    The ledge campsite you speak of near goat lake.....can you share the details on how you found it, how crowded, Etc? We are going late July mid week and am wondering if it's worth the hassle of all the people to snag a site there.

      It’s just a super small bivy site, so unlikely multiple folks will fit there, but there’s plenty of nearby options! It was on the ridge above the Packwood Glacier, between Old Snowy and Goat Lake. Somewhere around (46.5144786, -121.4644263).

    Beautiful video! Thanks for sharing. I'm hoping to hike here next summer. What month were you hiking?

      It’s an incredible little range, enjoy your trip! I was there mid-June of 2022.

    Amazing! Do you mind sharing the location of second campsite? I am doing the loop this weekend and has been trying to find the second campsite on google earth but not able to do so. TIA

    Did you camp on Hawkeye point?

    • @RadishUprooted
      @RadishUprooted  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope, we spent the first night around the Cispus River, and the second night on the ridge above the Packwood Glacier between the PCT and Goat Lake.

    Does this area have dispersed camping?

    • @RadishUprooted

      Yep, it’s a federal wilderness so standard wilderness camping regulations are in effect here.
