It is delighted to inform that this bhajan was composed during sultanate period of Indian history by a Muslim (khousro) poet and writer who was influenced by Sufism. Since then this bhajan has been sung by many musicians. This bhajan is a true manifestation of Amity between Hindus and Muslim or in simple word ganga- jamuni tehzib. We must carry on our shared heritage.
