I have a shelf train in my office at home that I enjoy watching although I did have a larger setup (8x8) but nothing like this. I had to sell off a lot to make room for basement remodeling and kept enough for the shelf train. I look for the Swift meat cars but haven't found them, not even at Walthers model railroad or Blue circle maybe I overlooked them. I will always be a meat man and i am 70 lol.
i am surprised he has gone to this level of effort and not applied any aging to the layout. Everything looks like it was taken out of the box yesterday. That would really make a huge difference. Perhaps thats the next project.
Yeah that whole scene just doesn't need to be there. An animated amusement park would be so much more interesting. Just saying. Have a great day everyone.
That large slaughterhouse will kill those few animals in less than an hour lol. Nice layout though. I zero'd in on that because I am a retired meat man.

I like all the curves in this layout and the rock wall at 7:00 - very realistic. It looks like the set has more of an artist's touch to it. Great job!

This layout needs a lot of track work. Train are just hopping on the track.
I don't see the cars hopping. Perhaps you have a more discerning eye!
