Great video of the nations very best model railroad museum in San Diego. I visit there as much as possible when I’m home in the San Diego area. My late wife & I used to take our 3 children & niece there many times when we lived in the San Diego area. I have been visiting the San Diego Model Railroad Museum many times since 1975. It’s a great place for model railroaders to visit.

Great place to visit Balboa Park is a must see of course while your there you can get out of the sun by stopping by the rail museum. Man these models are amazing the trains are great don’t get me wrong, but the model buildings and other scenery are next level stuff.

I really enjoyed watching this one. Many railroad layouts depict cities and urban areas, but this one was a nice change of pace in representing a rural layout. It makes people understand that the railroads touched ALL aspects of American life. Thanks for sharing this.

I love this model railroad layout! I agree it is beautiful. I love the trestle, the trains and the realistic looking details like the canyon foliage.

Love the cab forward pulling the daylight cars. I always do that or at least i did till both my engines decided to die. Working on getting both repaired.

Hi! I recently went to the visit the museum and saw you guy's beautiful layout! I was given a tour by one of your members, Randy, and as a result! I wanted to get in contact about potentially doing a layout exchange with you guy's! is there a way to get a hold of you outside of youtube?

An amazing layout with superb attention to detail and story telling with umpteen scenes to look at. A real work of love! Only question I would have or suggest might be to add some people in your spotlight passenger train. Without that your railroad isn't doing very good business in the passenger draw for commuting! lol. With all the rest of the outstanding detail what's a few people in the cars!

Nice layout.. But is it just me that wishes to see a single period modeled correctly? Steam and current police cars/fire trucks, etc. And I love the cab forwards, but they never pulled a Daylight passenger train. Oh well. Guess that’s why they make vanilla and chocolate ice cream…everyone has their own tastes..

Les falló en el acomodamiento, una máquina de vapor siempre debe de llevar el tander atrás, si no como cargan el carbón
