I have lived in Las Vegas since 2021. I seem to be the only imperfect person among my relatives which include Bonnie and Terry Tipton. I live with these retired government employees near the Charleston and Buffalo Blvd intersection. My history is that I went to the University of Arizona on a Navy ROTC scholarship in the early 1990's. I did not do so well after a certain point. I think I had some mental conflicts and beliefs interfering with my academic performance as I reflect back. I did complete a BS in mechanical engineering in 1995. I was in the U.S, Navy from 1995-2000. I worked at Communications and Power Industries in Palo Alto CA from 2000-2001.I completed an MBA with the University of Phoenix in 2001. My grade point average for the MBA was higher than the BS in engineering. Anyway, the job at Communications and Power Industries in CA was the last time I had employment doing anything near what I expected to do. I spent off an on from the Fall of 2003- 2020 teaching English at various schools in China. I was financially independent there. In 2024, I am 54 and destitute. I do have some money in a Wells Fargo savings and checking account. What has been upsetting is that someone has been able to charge me for an extra drink every day for a soft drink, like they have been copying me at a nearby McDonalds. It gives me the impression I have been monitored for whatever reason. All of my relatives have been able to make me feel like a colossal failure in life. It is as if I am supposed to develop an inferiority complex to them. I guess that has been happening. I do hate being around them. I am the only imperfect one out of them. My parents have attended Shadow Hills Baptist Church of Las Vegas since about 1990. I do think they express themselves like they are morally perfect, and perfect period, and due to their condescending comments of others like participants in NFL and NBA games. I do not think it is possible to have a conversation with any relative without having them able to make me feel guilty or like a crap. I kind of hoping someone can get me out of this situation. I only really see my parents every day. What I hear about the other relatives comes from them and conversations. But yes they have all been able to make feel like a terrible, pitiable person. I wish someone could help me escape this situation. I do not like to say, but I was happier in my teaching position at Jiangsu University or Henan University of Technology, or some others than I have been since 2021, at least before 2020. I do not know why everything since 2020 has really gone bad for me. For my engineering degree, I took the three levels of Calculus and Ordinary Differential Equations, and got As or Bs in them. I am just saying this to show I have some knowledge. My relatives and the American economy seem convinced I have no knowledge. I have been reviewing these courses on TH-cam.
This literally defeats the purpose of going to Vegas, you might want to be up there and take pictures without risking going to jail, they need to change that

We are missing context of the stops. Kind of matters what the arrests were for, was it panhandlers, street performers, homeless people sleeping or tourists stopping to take a selfie or shot of the strip….
Does not matter what the arrests were for, what matters is that the way the law is written one can be arrested simply for stopping in certain pedestrian areas simply to take a selfie or a picture of the skyline, stopping for a minute to talk with friends or associates, or stopping to handle a problem being experienced by a child or even just stopping to look for something in a purse, bag, or pack. Though I'm sure Police Officers have a certain amount of discretion, I'm also certain that some Officers will not be at all forgiving.
