I'm always fascinated by Matt playing the guitar as if it were the easiest thing in the world. Sometimes he doesn't even look when he plays like that😂.
The pre chorus is a blatant throwback to Time Is Running Out. Clever 😊 This song is 👌🏻Brian May would be proud of that solo!
Literally everyone ive nerded out about this album to have said the same haha. It's nice. First song of theirs i ever heard was TIRO. This new one took me right back there, nostalgia :P

Hmm, actually I noticed that too when I first heard the song.
I came back to Euphoria, at first I was up and down but withe song but the past couple weeks I have been putting the song on repeat. Mostly Matt's guitar skills brought my love back to this song.

The final chorus of this (and the guitar solo leading into it) is my favourite part of any song.

I am so glad there is at least somebody i care share my love to this album with. all of my friends think its trashy and "unorganised" and every reaction/review video ive seen on this album has thought it was complete dog sh*t. anyways, thank you
I see it as an album entirely intended for Muse fans, which is kinda neat - no complex ideas, no big concept, just a revisit of all the things fans have liked about them over the years. It's not great art - and personally, it's not my favorite album by them - but it's by no means bad, and there are really good moments here. "Euphoria", title track, "Won't Stand Down" and the very last song are all pretty damn amazing.
This "unorganized" criticism is kinda funny to me though - Muse's one schtick is their eclecticism when it comes to their music, with hard rock one moment and orchestral symphonies the next. It's fine when they go from space prog rock on OoS into apocalyptic classical bombast on Absolution, but suddenly it sucks when they do it on a single album? Plus I mean, like, if you wanna talk disorganized, it's not like BH&R was consistent in terms of style, the damn thing was all over the place and yet everyone loves it.
The funniest reviews I've seen, though, talk about the lyricism as being vague and unoriginal, as if Muse were ever about the lyrics - every single album going back to Muscle Museum's "I have played in every toilet" contains blatant lyrical cheese. Muse are not poets making some grand statement, they're musicians having fun, with straightforward songs, where lyrics simply compliment the tunes.
Nah, critics who dissed this with those types of arguments either don't get that Muse has always been about genre experimentation, or that they've never really taken themselves too seriously. It's fine to dislike this album, but it's absolutely quintessential Muse.

Yeah, I love this album! Not my favorite, but still great and enjoyable and I've been listening to it on repest without skipping any songs!

I'm surprised you didn't hear TIRO in this song it's pretty similar. I'm developing an interesting relationship with this album because I've started going to the gym and of course I listen to this album the whole time. So now whenever I hear a song from the album I get into workout mode lol..which will be good when I see them tour
I get that strange 'location/actiivity' association too xD. Currently this album relates to getting up, showered and ready for work lol. gives me some moral support for getting through a shift haha.
