Hi Ina. It's certainly been a tough journey with your cattleyas but I'm happy that you've finally nailed it. In my past orchid growing life I was able to grow catts well in my greenhouse but now I'm growing some orchids indoors and some outdoors, the best light is outdoors and of course there's not enough space for all the bright light loving plants. As with you I suspect that the grow lights I bought are not bright enough because I'm just not getting blooms ndoors and it's very frustrating. I'm glad you're getting all those lovely cattleya blooms for us to enjoy, keep up the good work and thanks for sharing this interesting video.
I hope your catts bloom for you soon. I know how hard it is to get the right light for them indoors. Some small cattleyas bloom under a wider light spectrum... Let me know if you manage to bloom them
Yay to your sheath! I feel your pain! I’m in the Midwest US (Zone 6) and have the same issues! Luckily I put my cattleyas outside in the summer, but they try to give up on life in winter! The do like my Milsbo with grow lights.
Anymore information on this white mould or fungus you mentioned? I’ve been having some of the same issues as you with Cattleyas and that white stuff can you show us more about it and in detail with treatment please.
It can kill your orchids. I lost some to this fungus. I will wait a bit to see if the treatment worked well and will record a video of it. I treated it with a houseplant fungicide.

It is amazing to have an outdoor space, I think I would do the same if I could here. I am glad they are doing well in your zone ❤️
