Adult size is fairly standardized in NPGA registered pygmies, with the bucks usually maturing an inch or so taller and maybe 15-20 lbs. heavier than does of their same bloodlines. Bucks have heavier, more muscular bodies than the does. A wether (neutered male) will have the same added height as the bucks, but not quite the bulk. My does averaged 19-20" at the withers (in general) and my bucks 20-21" tall. Does weigh 45-55 lbs. My bucks 50-65 lbs - varying by bloodline. Have fun with your goats!!
A beauty of a barn and some very happy creatures you have there. I love to see happy creatures and respondsible husbandry. Kudoz and Best to you, Love da goaties, Luna
Too cute! I want a little black goat so bad. Goats are just the coolest. My girlfriend doesn't understand my "goat obsession" -lol. She says I can't have one, but when we get a house someday, I'm getting one!! I just think they're the coolest animals out there.
How about a large Lynx? Pygmies DO stay quite small as goats go (about knee high or a little smaller on average) but they weight about 60+ lbs as adults. :)
At just one day old (smile), they are just learning HOW to jump around and play. It's part of what makes newborns so darn cute. :) Up until just before this video, they were confined to a 4' x 5' kidding stall bedded deep with straw. This was their first time out on a hard, dirt floor where they could really romp.
Pygmy goats can range in price from $50 to upward of $500, depending on whether they are purebred or not, gender, geographic location, pedigree, health guarantees ... and much more. Check out breeders near you by looking on the NPGA Breeder List (online). Have fun!
They are pets and weedeaters and money. Since they are pygmy, they are pets for little kids, 3 pygmies can clear brush out in like a day or 2, and during the summer everyone wants a goat or 2 for that previous reason so they pay $80-$200 and more sometimes.
snowgooseAK he is defiantly 15-20 pounds heavier but hes probably about 5-7 inches taller! when we got them i thought they were full grown (tiny was pregnant ) and he was maybe 1 inch taller then her but hes grown a lot. and im worried that maybe hes not able to get her pregnant again. P.S it was her first kid and she only had one and we ended up losing the kid :( (the vet was closed)
aww how cute i have pygmy goats and i have to mama goat but this winter one of my goats gave birth i really didnt no wat to do she gave birth last week when me and my husband whent to check it was dead the head was out first and she jumped a fence it was pretty high she couldnt have it to i didnt no wat to do so my husband and borther in law pulled it out of course helping her couse she was in pain could u tell me wat whent wrong so i can prevent it again she was only a yr old
do you sell them if so could I buy one of the little guys. Me and my dad are going to raise one in 4h. (not to be slaughtered.) But to go into a show for its looks and keep him as a pet. I don't really want to show him but to own what my neighborhood consideres an exotic pet there has to be a legit reason.
@nubianlocs75 ditto! i wanna train them as pack goats and take them on hikes! hoping to rescue some male dairy goats from having to go to slaughter.... these pygmy goats a really cute!
You seem to be LOST again ... I haven't gotten a single response to direct emails to you or to Amy. Is all OK in Green Bay? I thought I'd try going through your You Tube account to see if that got a response. Hugs, Your other Mom (Deb)

disco and tango, SSSSOOOO cute!
Yeah, they eat the blades of grass down to the root, but not the root itself, they also eat tree leaves and brier leaves and stuff.
The mama Pygmy who is standing there with the babies is approximately 19" tall at the shoulder - just a little bit under knee high to my 5'3" (smile).
Adorable!
I had no idea baby goats were so cute!

you should set a real divider inbetween the mom will head butt the other side till her head is injured
it's not what you say to an animal - it's how you say it.
:) very cute

these pygmy goats a really cute!
Tango is pretty darn cute, and the "J" on the forehead, is that for Jer?
KAWAII 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
How much it cost a baby Pygmy goat? thanks
What kind of flooring is this? I am looking for that beige coloured sand but it's about €70 per tonne
WHY DONT I OWN BABY GOATSSSSSS????????
wow the comments below are rude, altho 2 b fair u were talkin a lot and in the baby voice but the goats make the cutest noise
bayıldım bunlara ;)
Great vid. Thanks for sharing. Too bad about the inane, rude comments.
I hadn't even noticed that it looks like a "J"! (L) Appropriate since these kids technically belong to Jer! ("Magic" is registered in his name.)
It is not "baaa" that ´s what sheep do but goats sound like "MEEEEEEE"
