I've "danced" with baby goats. Once they get to know you they will let you join their dance team. I think my times spent dancing with those kids was the most fun I've ever had. This kid is a noob, but with practice it'll be able to leap so high it touches the clouds.
I wish that I can fit a precious baby goat in my big purse. Lol. They are just so cuddly. I'm pretty sure if you do meet baby pygmy goats, you will probably hug him/her and never let go. I won't blame you. Lol.

A lot of animals do this "seizure happy dance" When they're young. I had two rabbits and they would leap up in the air so crazy and twitch and jerk. I thought they were sick, but they were just dancing after I read more about them.
furygeist I think it's actually an evolutionary trait. In the wild young animals like this are target prey for predators. They need their legs to become as strong as possible as quickly as possible in order to survive. This shaking/jumping isn't unlike track sprinters before they run the 100m.
It looks to me like it's reacting to fleas. Most animals twitch when bothered by them and a newborn goat wouldn't be used to that or know how to react to it's skin being extremely irritated.
Most really young baby goats I've seen do this kind of thing and I was kind of wondering what it was about. I thought, "I'll check the comments, someone will have explained it already."
It's literally just a ball of fluff with tap shoes. Absolutely precious.

It's only a couple of days old. Takes time to figure out your tip tappers and wiggle tufts.
